Das Transparent erregt dadurch Aufmerksamkeit, da darauf meterhoch Studierende abgebildet sind, die das Studienkredit-Angebot loben unter anderem mit den Worten: "Ich finde das Studienbeitragsdarlehen cool", "Ich finde es gut, dass mir das Darlehen ermöglicht, in eine bessere Zukunft zu starten" und "Jetzt macht Studieren Spaß!".

Für die beiden Referenten des AStA der Münster ist eine derartige Darstellung des komplexen Themas "Studiengebühren und Kredit" abzulehnen. "Die NRW-Bank verharmlost mit diesem Transparent die Verschuldung, die dank Studiengebühren, auf die Studierenden zukommt", begründet Jörg Rostek die Aktion und ergänzt: "Mag sein, dass der NRW-Bank-Kredit tatsächlich zahlreichen Studierenden hilft, die finanzielle Belastung auszuhalten, aber in eine glückliche Zukunft startet man damit garantiert nicht. Pläne wie ein eigenes Haus oder das Gründen einer Familie rücken Dank Studiengebühren in weite Ferne."

Auf dem Transparent teilt die NRW-Bank unter anderem mit, dass mittlerweile über 60.000 Studierende in NRW ein "Studienbeitragsdarlehen" in Anspruch nehmen würden. Die Fotos von den Studierenden seien während der Campus-Messe in Düsseldorf entstanden. Die Sprüche würden die Begeisterung der Studierenden über die Darlehen der Bank kundttun.

"Es grenzt an Zynismus eine solche Werbekampagne zu fahren. Es gibt in Münster keinen Platz, um für Kultur zu plakatieren, aber meterweit Lügen zu verbreiten, soll ok sein", fragt sich Andy Strauß erregt und meint: "Ich fände es bärenstark, wenn das wieder abgenommen werden würde. "

Un comma della legge sancisce che negli enti pubblici non possono essere rinnovati i contratti a tempo determinato per chi ha lavorato per più di tre anni in un quinquennio.

Di fatto, essere produttivi o fannulloni non ha importanza, si rimane a casa e basta,  poco importa se non si è mai stati in mutua o si hanno figli piccoli a cui badare.

La provocazione delle ex-telefoniste: «L’azienda dove lavoriamo ci lascerà in mutande. Abbiamo deciso di toglierci anche quelle. Si definiscono «le prime vittime di Brunetta», le prime perché dall’entrata in vigore del decreto saranno migliaia i precari che potranno vedersi rinnovare il contratto. E anche se sanno di «non fare notizia come le altre norme messe in atto dal ministro», loro, alcune delle quali «madri, sole e a monoreddito che in sei anni non hanno fatto neppure un giorno di malattia, sempre puntuali ed efficienti» non si arrendono.

Così, provocatoriamente da lunedì mettono all’asta il loro corpo per un’offerta di lavoro. «L’azienda dove lavoriamo ci lascerà in mutande. L'asta è aperta dal 2 settembre presso l’Ospedale di Legnano.

Per ora la protesta delle ex telefoniste è iniziata su YouTube dove hanno messo in scena un vero e proprio picchetto via web con tanto di striscioni. «No allo sfruttamento dei precari». «Sì al reddito di cittadinanza». «No all’abuso della legge Biagi». «Riceveremo la colletta dal sindacato. Vergognatevi». «Ci mettiamo all’asta in cambio di un posto di lavoro». Il loro non è certo un balletto alla Virzì. Ma come le centraliniste del film anche queste hanno «Tutta la vita davanti». E per ora solo tanti «lunedì al sole» come questo.

Il WiMAX è una tecnologia di trasmissione senza fili d'accesso a banda larga. Ha la possibilità, al pari di altre tecnologie wireless, di essere utilizzato su molti tipi di territorio, sia in città che in aree rurali. Nonostante le aspettative avessero come obiettivo quello di coprire ampi spazi fino a 50 km di distanza, una serie di test effettuati sul WiMAX ha ipotizzato che questa tecnologia possa servire un area utile non superiore ai 10 Km, dove l'utenza potrebbe usufruire di una connessione di 10 Mbit/s. In Italia sono ancora molti milioni gli utenti che non hanno accesso alla banda larga e devono utilizzare mezzi di fortuna per connettersi ad internet, in alcuni casi con flat o contratti onerosi quanto scandalosi. Questi digital divided, dei quali faceva parte anche il sottoscritto fino a pochi mesi fa, sono di fatto estromessi da una quantità spaventosa di informazioni che di fatto danneggiano il loro diritto di informarsi, comunicare e accedere a servizi informatici.

Ecco un filmato d'esempio sul WiMAX negli U.S.A.

Il WiMAX in tal senso può essere una risposta concreta poiché si riduce tutto ad un'antenna che copre un'area di circa 10 km alla quale l'utenza può collegarsi con un semplice ricevitore. Ciò ridurrebbe in maniera considerevole i costi per esempio della realizzazione degli impianti di fibra ottica o a banda larga, non solo per i lavori da fare per interrare i cavi, ma anche per il costo stesso delle materie prime. E' un fatto appurato che l'aumento del prezzo di rame e altri metalli, incida sempre di più sugli investimenti e sui costi che devono poi sostenere gli utenti finali. Sembra la manna dal cielo, ma specialmente in questi casi è facile temere che aziende monopoliste come Telecom possano metterci lo zampino e "cestinare" queste innovazioni in favore dei loro interessi. L'asta per acquisire le licenze per poter distribuire questo servizio si è tenuta il 27 febbraio 2008. Il testo pubblicato sul sito del Ministero delle Comunicazioni riassume quanto segue:

Non resta che aspettare e pregare. Sono scettico sulle rivoluzioni tecnologiche in un periodo storico in cui ogni giorno viene riproposto qualcosa che è identico al giorno prima ma modificato per sembrare migliore. Il WiMAX è già stato criticato da più parti e molto probabilmente dovrà evolversi come ogni "scoperta" dopo la prima diffusione. Certamente però non posso essere cieco sulle potenzialità e sui benefici che può offrire un servizio fornito da uno strumento che raggiunge qualunque località e può permettere alle persone di essere sempre connesse alla rete. In una realtà dove milioni di persone sono abbandonate davanti alle televisioni, la possibilità di avere uno strumento che ti da un'informazione diversa, ma soprattutto libera, può risultare determinante per lo sviluppo della società.

In einer Pressemitteilung vom Mittwoch, den 6. August 2008, warf der Ring Christlich Demokratischer Studenten (RCDS) der AStA-Bildungsreferentin Anne Maria Naegels (Uni-GAL) und dem AStA-Referenten für politische Bildung und demokratische Rechte, Jörg Rostek (uFaFo) vor, in Leipzig auf einem "getarnten Zeltlager" Urlaub auf Kosten der Studierendenschaft der Universität Münster gemacht zu haben. Wie haltlos diese Anschuldigung ist, möchten die Betroffenen an dieser Stelle darlegen.

Das, was der RCDS in seiner Pressemitteilung als "Zeltlager" bezeichnete, war die "European Democratic Education Conference 2008" (EUDEC, http://www.eudec2008.org/de/). Veranstalter der EUDEC waren die Freie Schule Leipzig, die Universität Leipzig, die Sudbury-Schule Halle-Leipzig e.V., der Bundesverband Freier Alternativschulen BFAS und das European Forum for Freedom in Education EFFE. Unterstützt wurde die Konferenz von der Bundeszentrale für Politische Bildung, deren Präsident Thomas Krüger die Eröffnungsrede im öffentlichen Teil hielt.
An der Konferenz zu demokratischer und freier Bildung nahmen 388 LehrerInnen, Mitglieder von Schülervertretungen und Eltern aus mehr als 25 Ländern teil. Neben fast allen europäischen Ländern waren auch Israel, Kanada und Taiwan vertreten.

"Was der RCDS als Zeltlager bezeichnet, war eine Konferenz über Bildung, Demokratie und die essentielle Frage, wie man beides einem Menschen vermittelt. Diese Frage ist für uns als StudierendenvertreterInnen sehr wichtig. Schließlich werden Menschen in der Schulzeit maßgeblich sozialisiert. Und haben wir Studierendenvertreter nicht auch den Auftrag bei den Studierenden das Interesse an demokratischen Prozessen zu wecken?", kommentiert Jörg Rostek die Vorwürfe des RCDS.

Themen der Konferenz waren unter anderem: Forschung zu demokratischer Bildung, Konfliktmanagement, Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung, Kinderrechte und Auseinandersetzung mit Bildungsreformen. Ebenso wurden Arbeitskreise zu den Themen Demokratietheorie und Wahl- und Abstimmungsverfahren angeboten. Unter den Referenten waren renommierte Wissenschaftler und Autoren aus dem In- und Ausland, unter anderem Prof. Alan Thomas, Dr. Falko Peschel, Otto Herz, David Gribble und Dr. Marc Luyckx Ghisi.
Veranstaltungsort der Konferenz war die Sportwissenschaftliche Fakultät der Universität Leipzig. Die Teilnehmer übernachteten in der nahe gelegenen Sportmittelschule und auf der Festwiese vor dem Zentralstadion, die von den Veranstaltern für die Dauer der Konferenz angemietet worden waren. Insgesamt dauerte die EUDEC 8 Tage.

"Der Bezug zur Hochschule ist kinderleicht herzustellen", erklärt Anne Maria Naegels und ergänzt: "Gerade in letzter Zeit liest man immer wieder, dass Lehrer an staatlichen Schulen überfordert sind. Die Schüler zu bändigen und zu motivieren - das ist an freien Schulen nicht nötig. Da wir nahezu 10.000 Lehramtsstudierende an der Universität Münster haben, werden wir bald eine Informationsreihe zum Thema 'Demokratische Bildung' veranstalten. Dort können angehende Lehramtsstudierende erfahren, was man sich von alternativen Schulformen abgucken kann."

Over mijn eerste bioscoopfilm moest ik niet lang nadenken. Het fantastisch swingende Jungle Book in de Decascoop in Genk. De bioscoop bestaat allang niet meer. Lang geleden weggemaaid door een Kinepoliscomplex in de buurt. Nu is er een H&M, als ik me niet vergis.

Ook mijn favoriete film was gemakkelijk. Mijn standaardantwoord is Casablanca. Dat weet u intussen. Ook de meest tenenkrullende film was snel gevonden: The Sound Of Music. Omdat mijn kleine zusje eraan verslaafd was en hem een tijdlang 3 keer per dag keek.
(Maar natuurlijk is de échte slechtste film ooit eigenlijk een romantische komedie, met Hugh Grant en Sandra Bullock in de hoofdrol, gebaseerd op een waar gebeurd verhaal en gedubd in het Oostenrijks...) 

Mijn oudste film, Hamlet (1921) is meteen goed voor het oudste filmische sekssymbool. Asta Nielsen. Zij is de Deense godin van de stomme film en de coolheid zelve als je het mij vraagt...

In Hamlet speelt ze de rol van... Hamlet. Geweldig modern. En erg verwarrend in het begin als je erachter probeert te komen wie wie is. (en het is nu niet alsof ze elkaar constant met de naam noemen in die stomme films)

Van Ostaijen was dol op haar. In 'Bezette stad' (ook weer 1921) noemde hij een gedicht naar haar. En omdat ik een lieve ben, alsjeblieft:

Een vriend van me schrijft mooie, Nederlandstalige liedjes onder de naam Asta. Hij speelde onlangs op het Play Festival in Hasselt. Neem eens een kijkje op MySpace. Het is de moeite.

Tillbaka på Tången, för vårt årliga Bohuslänbesök. Vädret är kanon, vattnet varmt (inga maneter!), luften het, klipporna ångande varma. Första promenaden gick till Tångenbryggan där Asta ligger ankrad. Asta, eller LL 667 Asta, är en gammal fisketrålare, byggd på enepinnad ek på furuspant, år 1916 på Ringen Varv, Marstrand. Kom till Smögen 1937 där hon fiskade med sillvadfiske, garnfiske och trålning.
1980 avslutades det yrkesverksamma fisket. Sedan 1981 tillhör hon föreningen Tôllar Ô Seiel, där hon blir ompysslad. http://www.tollaroseiel.se/ . Fisketången är nu del av Kungshamn (tidigare Gravarne och Bäckevik), men var tidigare en självständig fiskehamn. Läsmerhär. 

Efter Tångenbryggan promenerade vi till badet och över till Klåvholmen där man har en absolut betagande vy över farleden.

Don't steal the fic, and it won't be posted anywhere else. I doubt it will be, though...

"That makes three today! Way to go, IYOTEN," Asta cheered. "These noobs are so stupid - they never knew what hit them!" She frowned, tapping her lightly-glossed lips as she mentally tallied their kill count. "The next one's mine, you got it?" 

"I know," IYOTEN replied, casually brushing his hair to the side a little as they left the dead PC lying there in the Beast Temple. Putting his sword away in the typical flash of light, he started to walk towards the Warp Point, intent on finding something else to do, or someone with a higher level to fight. 

"Hey! IYOTEN, where are you going?" The blonde followed him, as was typical, until he turned around. 

"I'm bored," he grunted, still walking towards the Warp Point.

"How does the Arena sound?" Her hopeful voice reached his ears right before they warped back to Mac Anu, and when the blue light had faded, she continued. "We can go back to Kestrel and see if there're any people who want to participate," she grinned, watching as IYOTEN keyed the words in for their guild area.

Δ Sneering Failing Empire

"Who the hell d'you think you are? Watch it," Asta yelled as someone bumped into her. And then another. "Watch it already, fot god's sake!"

"Leave if you wanna live," one yelled back at her. "Gabi's letting one of the new kids practice in here." And then Asta had the presence of mind to actually look around.

Gabi was sitting on his throne, of course, but then, there were also his monsters in the guild area. High-level monsters. And in the middle of them stood a girl, obviously a PK-er by her stance and the (rapidly increasing) pile of dead PC bodies around her. Her choice weapon appeared to be twin blades, from the looks of things.

"How about her?" IYOTEN asked, shrugging. "She's definately strong enough."

"I don't like her, but if you say so, I'll ask," Asta replied with a smirk, flipping her short green hair over her shoulder before summoning her weapon. "Hey, you! Want a free ticket into the arena?" The girl turned, her white pigtails flipping as she looked back at them with pink pupils. As if to accentuate her already-strange PC, her body was pale, paler than IYOTEN or Asta, and her clothes were white as well. A short Chinese-styled dress barely reached mid-thigh, and her dark dual swords clashed stunningly with her entire PC.

"Why would I bother?" The quiet voice surprised Asta, but she shrugged it off and leaned on her broadsword, the basic Broad Wheel. She noted with a boyish grin that IYOTEN had also drawn his weapon and stood at the ready. "I'm bored enough as is without dealing with weaklings like you two."

"Why you-!" Asta lunged forward, but IYOTEN grabbed her slim arm, watching and waiting.

"Wait for her to attack. We don't know what she'll do first," he mumbled, nodding his head at the impressive body count. Even the famous Bordeaux was in there, Asta noted with newfound respect. Normally they just ignored her and stayed out of her way, as did most of Kestrel. "She's getting ready to attack."

Sure enough, the albino girl leapt into the air, her dual swords swinging as she sailed towards the two PKers. Asta immediately jumped to the side, activating Armour Pierce and swinging away. Of course, the albino was caught by surprise, and she only managed to block about half the hits. IYOTEN leapt into the fray at this point, knocking the other blade away. About to finish her with a few steady swipes, he was surprised when he found himself looking at the tip of a sword.

"An Adept Rogue? What are you trying to be, the Terror of Death?" Asta scoffed, ready to attack. "What else are you?"

"Tribal Grappler," the quiet girl replied calmly. "I chose to be a Tribal Grappler."

"Whatever," was Asta's response, spoken in her player's true voice, that of the man behind the PC. "Shut up and fight, noob."

"I believe that was what I was doing," the PC told them matter-of-factly, swiping forward and PKing IYOTEN in a single well-aimed blow.

"IYOTEN?" Asta turned her green-haired head sharply, watching the girl cautiously. "I knew I didn't like you."

"You're next," the albino sighed, swapping her sword for her dual blades once more.

"That's enough, Henide," a voice rumbled over the Greek-styled landscape.

"Master Gabi!" Immediately the girl turned and bowed. "I'm sorry, I must have gotten carried away."

"That wasn't it at all," the red-furred beast called to her, adding his obligatory smile emoticon at the end of the phrase. "Why don't you join them in the Arena? That's what you were here for, wasn't it?"

"Yeah," IYOTEN replied, surprised as he rose from the ground. The 'Henide' girl had tossed a revival item his way and walked off, assumedly to Gabi's side. "We need another player."

"You're going to let her on our team?" Asta was disbelieving. "Hey! Don't just walk off, you little-!" Immediately Henide's sword was at her throat.

"Excuse me?"

That one quiet phrase was enough to  shut Asta up rather effectively.

"Calm down, Asta," Gabi offered with another of his emotes. "You too, Henide. I'm looking forward to your arena match later today!" That being said, he logged out.

"Asshole," Asta grumbled, thoroughly annoyed with this chain of events.

"IYOTEN," Asta whined, "I don't even like her."

"You like me, right?"

"Of course," she replied, crossing her arms over her chest and shifting her weight from on leg to the other. "What's that got to do with anything?"

"Trust me, she'll do fine," he replied, inwardly rolling his eyes. Asta was such a fickle and troublesome character sometimes... even in real life, where he was really a she.

 "Whatever," Asta snorted. She turned her head and stared at the portal to the arena. "You ready, Henide?"

"Of course," the albino character replied, getting to her feet. "It's not like I'm sleeping." She brushed past Asta and IYOTEN both, stepping into the portal with no regard for their own state of rediness. "Meet you in the arena," she grinned, "or are you coming?"

Both PKers scrambled to her side as she stepped into the glowing blue circle, although when they materialised, Asta was in the centre. With IYOTEN on her left and Henide on her right, she narrowed her eyes and tossed a jab towards the opponents - one of them was a small, blue, rather nervous-looking Beastman from the Tu Tribe.

"Nervous?" When he nodded, she leaned in, summoning her weapon in preparation for the signal. "I would be too, with losers like that as friends," she laughed, barely sparing the other two - one a Lord Partizan and the other a Twin Blade - a glance. "You're just not cut out for this place, kid," she taunted, her voice going to its real-life, rather rouch equivalent.

The Beastman brandished his staff - obviously, he preferred healing to combat-related arts. "I - don't insult my friends!"

"Oh, I won't anymore," she chuckled, voice back in-character. "I don't usually speak ill of the dead." With that, the match began.

Asta whirled, having easily dispatched the Twin Blade -all that she was worried about was the leader of the group now. That Twin Blade had been hounding her for what felt like forever, and it had felt a lot like the time the PKK Haseo had chased her down and killed her with his own twin blades... Realistically, it had only been about two or three minutes, but it was still a long match for the arena. Tatsumi Hori, Asta's controller, could feel the sweat running down his forehead, but couldn't stop to pull his M2D off and get rid of it; what an interesting match indeed!

Every time Asta dodged in to make a killing blow on the Twin Blade, the player would pull out and engage a very disinterested-looking Henide; he had apparently learned that Asta avoided the albino player, even if they were on the same side. Not that it was hard to do.

IYOTEN tossed a cry of 'Repth' in Asta's direction; apparently when she had been paying more attention to the Twin Blade, the character's HP had dropped significantly to the 100's.

"Thanks," Asta called, running back after that brief pause.

After that, Tatsumi was more careful to watch his health bar.

It seemed that all three characters working in discord worked quite nicely - it completely confused their foes, and it allowed each individual to unleash Rengekis at random times. The bulk of their offence had been taken down with the Twin Blade that Asta had kept occupied long enough for IYOTEN to kill with a stab to the back. That left Henide with the still rather-frightened Harvest Cleric. As the leader of the group, he didn't do anything major - he ran around in circles, occasionally healing himself.

It wasn't a huge victory when the Beastman went down, but IYOTEN supposed that it did bring them one step closer to challenging the Terror of Death. Anything that helped accomplish that end was worthwhile.

"Aaaand the victor is Team Asta! With a stunning performance towards the end, they hacked their way through several tough opponents to claim the win! Master Gabi, what do you have to say about this- Master Gabi?"

As the announcer began to whine about how his job was becoming more and more pointless and disrespected by his guests, the trio warped out.

"We'll see you around, right?" IYOTEN asked, looking at Henide's red eyes.

"I'm sure you will. Get stronger, right?" Henide logged out, and Asta began to stomp off. When the blue-haired Blade Brandier followed, she whirled and jumped to crush her lips against his.

"What was that?" he practically squawked, a bit bewildered, slivers of his eyes showing now.

"Don't let her touch you, IYOTEN," Asta growled. "We're a team, and don't you dare go after her."

"Of course not," he sighed, the thought having never crossed his mind.

A moment later, staring out into Lumina Cloth's backdrop, he asked,

"Want to go PKing?"
