Ifall man har tänkt börja med viktminskning så är det inte bara att ta första alternativ man hittar. "Gå ner 10 kilo på 30 dagar nu" och liknande brukar man se lite här och där men det är bara bluff. Ifall man ska ägna sig åt viktminskning så är det långsiktigt man ska viktminska och inte tro att det går fort.

Woke up an hr back.. was thinking wat to do.. jus checked time.. not bad.. i had slept almost 6 hrs..

So something was not right.. oops.. I din have my dinner and looks like everyone are sleeping.. hmm.. ok jus washed up and chked dining table.. there was this new bread pack.. kool.. went inside toasted and had it with some onions.. :) Paati woke up.. took her to washroom... read a review abt Kuselan frm news paper and ate my dinner...

Might eat something.. sorry will read something now ;)

Poker School-Intermediate-Part II-The Art of Bluffing

Making big hands and playing premium starting cards aren't the only way of winning in poker. If they were then the game wouldn't be half as much fun and wouldn't be surrounded by as much mystique and legend as it is.

Although bluffing is an important part of poker many players overestimate its strength, making the mistake of bluffing too often and at the wrong time. The key ingredient to successful bluffing is information. You need to know the people you're up against, the situation you're in and have an awareness of your own table image.

These three pieces of information can be summed up quickly like this; if you're up against a poor player who calls with anything then you're wasting your time bluffing. If they have hit anything then you're going to get called. Learn it now and remember it forever - you CANNOT bluff a calling station!

Dependent upon the situation you're in you should always consider whether a bluff actually has any chance of succeeding. If it's a single-table tournament and you're trying to bluff a player with just a few chips left then you're probably not going to be successful. In tournament play desperate players will often call with their last few chips and you should always bear that in mind. By all means, put them on the spot for all of their chips if you can easily afford it, but if you don't have all that many chips yourself then bluffing in those sort of situations can be very dangerous.

Your own table image is something that is often not considered by players when they're playing at a table. If you are someone who has been playing very tight for many hands then your bluff has a much better chance of succeeding. Opposing players will suspect that you've finally got a hand and will show more respect to your bet.

However, if you've been betting and raising a lot, and especially if you've been caught trying other bluffs, then you're much more likely to get a call or a re-raise when you attempt your latest bluff. Just as you notice the pattern of behaviour of other players at the table, they are as likely to notice yours.

Information also comes in the form of the cards you can see on the table. If there is a possible flush or three or four cards to a straight then you've got to decide whether the players you're up against have made that straight or flush or whether they'll believe that you have those hands yourself. Their patterns of betting will hopefully have given you the clues you need to make your big decision.

What you really need to do is to pick your moments well, before you bluff, and after you feel you've got at least some idea of what your opponents are likely to do. Observe other players and their pattern of behaviour and notice if they're unlikely to bet unless they've got a good hand. When timid players check your chances of successfully bluffing them out of the pot are so much greater.

If you're close to reaching the pay-out structure of a single or multi-table tournament then it's usually the case that players tighten up in an effort to make it into the money, and this can be a great time to bluff and steal pots. Again though, you should always be aware of the players you've got at your table and how they're likely to respond if you try to bully them.

In poker you have the stone-cold bluff and the semi-bluff. The stone cold bluff is where you try to win the pot with no hand at all of your own. This is the most dangerous move of all and needs to be executed perfectly, especially in No Limit games, or Pot Limit games where the pot has grown substantially. If you get this move wrong then you're probably going to lose a lot of chips and possibly even look a little bit stupid.

The semi-bluff is usually the better way to go. This can be defined as making an attempt to win the pot when you don't have a made hand, but do possess one which could improve with the addition of another card, even if it is a long shot to hit for you.

An example of a semi-bluff can be shown here. Say you have A-10 and the flop comes down J-9-8. You have nothing better than ace high at that moment but if you do try a bluff and are called then you still have the chance to hit a queen or 7 for your straight and also an ace to give you the top pair. Even if you're called by a better hand you still have a chance to make a stronger hand yourself.

The advantage of the semi-bluff over the stone-cold bluff is that you have two ways to win with it. The stone cold bluff can only win if your opponents fold. However, the semi-bluff can win if they either fold or you hit the cards you need to make your hand!

Bluffing in poker is an art-form but it is generally harder to bluff online than it is in a bricks and mortar casino. You have less tells to go with as it is usually much harder to read your opponents through a PC screen.

However, if you practice enough and always remember the golden rules of information and timing then bluffing can be a very profitable exercise indeed.

"Boursicocotte" est un jeu de carte aux illustrations rigolotes. C’est un jeu d’enchère et de négociation avec des règles faciles à apprendre.

Le but du jeu est d’acheter des animaux soit aux enchères avec l’argent reçu au départ soit en faisant des tractations avec vos adversaires.

Il faut en plus tenter de rassembler le maximum de familles de 4 animaux identiques. Les négociations s’annoncent intéressantes !!!

C'est un jeu de négociation, bluff, d’enchère et de collection.

La boîte contient:

40 cartes d'animaux (10 familles de 4 animaux).
55 cartes d'argent.

Règles du jeu:
Pour commencer, mélanger les cartes d'animaux et placer le tas face cachée au centre de la table. Chaque joueur reçoit des cartes d'argent : deux cartes 0, quatre cartes 10 et une carte 50, et les conserve discrètement en main. Placer les cartes d'argent restantes au centre de la table.

A chaque tour, un joueur peut soit mettre un animal aux enchères soit proposer un marchandage à un autre joueur.

Pour mettre un animal aux enchères, il commence par retourner la première carte animal du tas. Les autres joueurs enchérissent sur la carte s’ils souhaitent l’avoir. Chaque offre doit obligatoirement être supérieure à la précédente.

Quand les enchères sont terminées, le joueur peut :

Accepter l’enchère sur son animal : il donne la carte animal au meilleur enchérisseur qui le paie en échange.
Payer le montant de l’enchère : il conserve la carte animal et paie le montant de l’enchère.
Conserver la carte animal gratuitement si personne n’a proposé d’enchère.

Attention, les vendeurs ne rendent pas la monnaie sur les enchères !

Le bluff est plus qu’autorisé pour faire monter les enchères, mais gare aux mauvais payeurs car si l'enchérisseur ne possède pas assez d'argent, il doit montrer son jeu à ses adversaires et il ne peut pas jouer au tour suivant.

Pour faire un échange,le joueur propose le marchandage d’une ou de plusieurs cartes d’une espèce d'animal à un autre joueur. Les deux joueurs doivent posséder au minimum le nombre de carte mises en jeu dans l’espèce demandée.

L’autre joueur ne peut pas refuser l’échange.

Le joueur souhaitant faire l’échange propose un prix en mettant face cachée des cartes d’argent.

L'autre joueur peut :

Accepter l'offre dans ce cas les joueurs procèdent à l’échange.
Faire une contre-proposition : il propose à son tour un prix avec ses cartes d’argent face cachées. Les joueurs s’échangent leurs cartes d'argent sans montrer aux autres. Celui qui a fait la plus grosse offre prend la ou les cartes d'animaux.

En cours de partie, lorsqu'un âne est pioché, chaque joueur prend une carte de 50 au premier âne, 100 au deuxième, 200 au troisième et 500 au quatrième.

La partie s'arrête lorsqu’il n’y a plus de carte d’animal. Chaque joueur compte ses points, en additionnant la valeur de chacune de ses familles, et en multipliant par le nombre de familles. Le joueur ayant le plus grand score gagne la partie !!!

It can be a different experience , if you are not afraid of so cald dark nite creatures.. vampires, ghosts etc..

I just listen to the latest fav song, just thinking what I have gone through these days.. one single word stands out.. friends!

So wat it is like to miss your friends when they are so near, yet away.. last few years hav gone very fast and just now I got some vetti time to think it.. For everyone college life would rather end up as fun, romance, or even with simple sadness ( am not talking about the arrear papers :P LOL) but I am just left with some memories of many ppl, but still I am not able to figure out those are happy ones or sad ones.. but it always feels good to remember ppl in later part of life.. no no am not in my sixties.. :)

I joined a college and was put up in college hostel... Hmm... it was a great life.. and the one I laughed lots than ever in my life. It was a place of everything ( i mean insects too) but I loved it.. be it scaring the gal sleeping next to me or sleeping in hostel when classes are in progress without anyones knowledge or making the place dirty with all my assignment papers.. or acting innocent for something I did which screwed up seniors who are searching my roomies for it :P everything just looks like dream. Now all my room mates in the hostel are not in touch with me, but I still keep track of them through some source or the other.. Not that I don want to break the ice.. but there is no ice .. but lot of mist which makes people think something is there, even if it is not there ..

Why all this flashback suddenly... out of the blue one of my frend (x roomie) cald up and told another roomie s carrying and they (some bunch of new found frens) paying visit to her. And told me to be in touch.. No idea why ppl are calling up now, though I have an accessible phone number for the past 3 years, that too same number.. may be she also sat alone in dark sometime recently.. ! ??

And one more frend of mine was having bday in jan 20th, so just sent a bday wish.. but got a response which meant surprise + advice. May be people forget that everyone grow up sometime and can also have some stuff within skull to think abt.. Then I finally understood one point that whenever someone wishes for gud, then we should accept rather than contemplating with past and it hurts the otherside badly when wishes are thrashed or questioned.

Was watching dasavatharam with appa today.. and there was this once scene in which one char n the movie tells.. "Watever happens..! Life must go on!".. I was suddenly getting the point about everything.. watever happy/sad .. whether love/hate.. life must go on.. since we might be of some help to someone.. someday..! and it might be anyday.. :) which could turn out to be a gud day :D

Quanto in realtà è grave la situazione non affatto risolta leggo oggi sul blog di Beppe Grillo.

There was time when, I was a kid thought about having atleast few friends who are there for my me for who I am and not for the money/some stupid selfish stuff.. I should say that I am not 100% successful in that thought... I still have frends who like to listen the gud and bad frm me... but as we know priorities change in life as we move on.. and we have to move on with the changing priorities.. this happens especially with my frens who are gals... and planning starts when they get engaged and implements when this marriage thing comes to place. OK, here ppl will tend to say this is not the same with current gen gals.. but I don see any difference, sudden isolation, sudden privacy.. it all happens.. may be am not sure why this happens since I am still not into any traps :) but no idea why this happens.

I have known both he and she in the same perspective and they used to call up every now and then for vetti chat and gossips and ofcourse computer reboot issues ;) But finally looks like "he" is having some time for friends and "shes" though seem to be free is always busy. May be "shes" are more interested in meeting their husband's friends than their own pals.. no idea why there is a sudden shift.. I don blame she or he.. but I don get the point behind it..
