Celebrities fly around locations so quickly!  One day they are in New York the next day in New Orleans like the Angelina Jolie family!

I was checking out these pictures and I didn't realize they had left New York.  I was like, what part of NYC is that?  Total blonde moment, sorry guys.  Here is the happy family enjoying a day in New Orleans!

I feel old!  I remember watching Leonardo Di Caprio when he was on "Growing Pains" and thinking what a cutie!  Here we are all these years later and he has grown up to be such a gorgeous man!

His latest flick, "Body of Lies" with buddy Russell Crowe premiered last night.  The duo first starred together in the 1993 film "Quick and the Dead."

In this film, Leo and Russell play CIA operatives who team up to track an al-Qaeda leader rumored to be planning attacks against America. Leo's character is an ex-journalist-turned-CIA agent who is sent to Amman to work with Jordan's intelligence chief, played by Russell.

Leo finally confesses that he'd like to get married and have children someday.

Kristen Bell was spotted leaving the Sunset 5 movie theater in West Hollywood yesterday! He is most definitely not Dax Sheppard!

To promote their new film, "My dear enemy"  ('멋진하루'), Ha Jung-woo and Jeon Do-yeon come together in for the photoshoot concept of "Were we really in love?." For Vogue Magazine (Korea), the answer involves a gun and cigarettes.

Two of my favorite actresses, Kristen Bell from "Heroes" and Rashida Jones from "The Office" held a Voting Kick off Party on Friday at Missouri State University.

Kristen claims to have never been into politics until she heard Obama speak during his primary campaign.

“It sort of really inspired me to get off my butt and do something. I’m not saying I know everything about every policy in the world … but I’m a good judge of character.”

“It’s not about feeding you a bunch of crap,” she said of Obama’s campaign.

Rashida Jones encouraged the students to find unregistered friends to sign up to vote in Missouri before the October 8th deadline.

“There’s no way around it, you guys are going to be the reason Obama wins Missouri,” Jones said. “It’s your responsibility, it’s your country and it’s time to take it back.”

I have no idea what "Rainism" means but the term probably has nothing to do with "controlling my mind of chicken breasts and vegetables." However, if I were to guesstimate, then "Rainism" refers to the half-naked, hunkier and modern version of the 70's disco group, Village People (above). Or it refers to Rain looking like Tom Cruise in the 80's hit movies Top Gun and Cocktail (below). Or maybe I am getting blinded by staring at the computer all day and thinking/wishing that Rain would be Tom Cruise or singing YMCA?

Rain's 5th album, "Rainism" will be out shortly but not before the full-fledged barrage of promos- first the comeback showcase at MBC Dream Concert on October 9th, then a television special on MBC called appropriately, "It's Raining" on October 10th and then a week later, another comeback showcase called, "Me Rain Dance" on October 17th. And let's not forget the 2nd teaser MV that will released on October 8th.

Anyways, I, for one, am thrilled about this whole 'no smoking in public places' rule. I hate passive smoking and feel quite bugged by the fact that there was nothing much I could do, except move away, if some random stranger decides to have a puff. Mr. Ramdoss you have my vote for this one. Though, like many others, I am not too sure as to how seriously the rule would be implemented and followed but a first step in this direction is whole-heartedly welcome.  I was also quite enthusiastic about the 'no smoking in movies' rule. Agreed the gangster looked lot cooler with a ciggie and that it gave a whole new dimension to the much anticipated hero's entry. Why, the ciggie companies must definetely owe a significant part of their sales to this one man and his antics with the tobacco tube.

I remember how people protested and detested such a ban. Creativity, freedom of expression and what not. But guys, do you realise how popular these actors are in the country? Is it not evidenced by the number of endorsements they get? If so, wont their antics on screen also impact people accordingly. I know, you will protest saying that smoking is a personal choice and each smoker has chosen to do so. Agreed, but are these actors not passively influencing people through their screen roles? You and I, being educated and old enough, may be able to make a distinction between an actor and the character he potrays. But how do you expect the same of young, impressionable adolescents who are not so educated and are totally enamoured by these stars?? who grow up thinking they too would turn into a matinee idol one day? And smoking is the first of many habits they pick up. Most of the time, the habit is defended by smokers as a route to 'fit-in' or 'be cool' or 'rebel'. These are probably the more common 'reasons' why people start smoking, often during their adolescent years. Maybe, Mr. Ramdoss is jsutified after all, what say?

I am not so foolish to say that this one stroke is going to result in a non-smoking gen-next. But it is one incentive less, one step ahead. The topic is so old but I have been wanting to say this for a long while and I did not have a blog back then. So there............ I have been keenly looking out for smokers in public places with my phone in hand to click and give them their 15 minutes of fame on my blog. I, happily, report that I have been unsuccessful so far. Chennai seems to be following this rule pretty seriously. Yipeeeeeee :)

It must be tough being Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie! Besides being super mega movie stars, they are the parents of 6 children between the ages of 3 months to 8 years old! Though Angie claims that her and partner Brad are sleep deprived, I think she looked breathtaking last night at the premiere of her latest movie, "Changeling."

"We are a little bit [sleep deprived]," the actress told People. "We have some help a couple of nights a week, so on those nights we catch up on our sleep."

The older children help out with the new babies too! “They’re funny. They want to help a lot now, but they’re still so little, so it’s like trying to change a diaper, you have to be careful because they squeeze them so tight.”

She also explained that it was odd being out of the limelight for so long, “Not nervous as much as I just took a deep breath because it¹s been so long. It felt a little strange.”

So are Brangelina planning to add to their family?  Angie says, “I think we’re going to wait a little while.”

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse might be joining forces with the likes of Tom Cruise, John Travolta and Katie Holmes by turning to the Church of Scientology!  A source has told the Sunday Mirror in England, "She had a call from the celebrity branch of the Church Of Scientology. She thinks they got her number through one of the American music producers who worked on her Back to Black album.

"They told her they wanted to help her beat drugs and could tailor-make a program so she wouldn't have to go to a residential center.

"She liked that idea because her husband Blake is out of prison soon and wouldn't want to be away from him when he's finally freed."

Treatment is in three stages. First, the addict is given vitamin cocktails.

Second is a series of saunas and a “detox diet”.

Finally, they have to work their way through a series of Scientology self-help books.

Later they came out with dude from the Force MD's (in the striped shirt).  FMD was hot way back in the day when I was in junior high school.  Yeah…a long time ago!  He sang a little bit of Love is a House, Fogive Me Girl and a few others that most of y'all have probably never heard, but I sang along because I remember every damn word! lol.

The show opened up with this female singer from Jamaica.  Great singer...can’t remember her name though.  I asked Neek...she gave me the blank stare.  She forgot too! lol...if any of you recognize her picture...let me know her name.  Thnx. 

KRS-ONE was the 2nd act.  He came out with Busy Bee.  I so want to groom BB's dreads.  DJ Premier was on the ones and twos…rocked it of course.  I’m mad at K though…how could he NOT perform Criminal Minded??  I kept waiting and waiting thru his free style sets.  I just knew he would close with it…but no.  I’m still mad about that. 

He also bought out one of the dudes from the Fu Schnickens.  Most of you have probably never head of them.  They were out in the early to mid-90's.  I only remember one of their hits (the one with Phife Diggie), but mostly I remember them because two of them went to my high school (they didn't graduate).  The one I didn’t go to school with, got on the mic and ripped it!

Rakim was next…my man!  The God!  LOVED HIM –.  He looked great...his voice was great.  He’s just so damn smooth…he could get it!  Wait…I take that back he might wanna talk about the "supreme mathematics”...I'm so not in to that stuff.  I used to date this guy named Sha Born (lol @ that name now...seemed so hot back in the day) who was in to all that stuff…we didn’t last long.  Anywho…this is about Rakim (he was the best part of the show to me).  Most rappers gotta go on stage with fifty eleven fools running around behind them…but not the God. He      did      his     thing     by     himself!  Of course I was dancing like a damn fool and yelling all the words to all his songs since I STILL listen to Paid In Full.  I did the James Brown when "I know you got Soul" came on.  (you got it...you got it...you got it...you got it...hey...I know you got sooooooooooooul!)  I "wopped" it up as soon as I heard, “m - m- m- m- make 'em  make 'em clap to this!” and broke in to "the Fila" (y'all don't know bout that!) by the time he got to "I made it easy to dance to this."  Raised an eye brow when he said, "Eric B aint on the cut, but my name is Rakim".  I heard he and Eric B ain't cool no more. 

I wasn't mad though, because KIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Capri (my FAVORITE DJ) was on the wheels of steel - he lost so much weight! 

Bobby came out strong…vocals were even decent – at first.  At one point he was on the floor grinding (end of Tenderoni)...lookin a hot mess if you ask me.  When he took his shirt off...I yelled for him to please cover himself up!  He is so out of shape…his breathing was starting to sound like an asthma attack was in his immediate future, so he finally got up off the floor. 

He  bought out La Princia for a hot second…think he said it was her birthday…can’t fully remember.  I just remember him saying she is now 19. 

By the end of his set, he looked a hot sweaty mess and I don’t even know why, since WE (the audience) sang most of his songs for him…hmmmmph!

Keith Sweat closed the show.  I have to say dude still looks EXACTLY the same.  He has not aged AT ALL.  You can’t tell from my pics (I just couldn’t get a good one)…but his doo ragged waves were just GLISTENING under the lights…and he kept rubbing his head, so you just KNOW he worked extra hard and is so proud at the wavenocity his hair achieved.  hahahaha!!   His set took forever to put together.  He literally had a living room set on the stage.  I’m still not sure why though.  Most of his time was spent prancing around.  His hype man was ridiculous.  He was too damn happy...came across as creepy, perverted...somewhat distrubing at times.  Especially when he kept flicking his tongue out as he crouched low and grinded.  We kept side eye'g him.  I wondered if he realized this show is about KEITH...not him.

Then out of no where Flava Flav walked to the front of the audience surrounded by this HUGE entourage of meaty looking security dudes complete with earpieces in secret service-like suits...they looked so serious!!  He gave Busy Bee a hug (BB was now in the front row) and took a pic with Kid Capri…this was all while Keith sang away.   Two minutes later, Flav was whisked away by security. 

Then all of a sudden he’s on stage with Keith.  He was up there for not long before all performers (except the Jamaican singer) also came on stage…Bobby (after a wardrobe change), R (still in the same clothes), Busy Bee, and a few others.

I have to say the show really wasn’t bad…*gasp*...I actually liked it.  Talking to my sis later, I learned this is her FIRST concert.  Shocked!  It’s my duty to take her to a REAL concert…this can’t be her only concert.
