The divided court ruled 4-3 that gay and lesbian couples cannot be denied the freedom to marry under the state constitution, and Connecticut's civil unions law does not provide those couples with the same rights as heterosexual couples.

There will be those that cry out that this is the act of legislating judges, but those that do that have forgotten what they learned in civics and government classes: the constitution was not written to just favor the majority, but was also written to protect the rights of the minority. This has been the case in so many situations of civil rights discrimination. Where the minority has tried to vote in discrimination, courts have had to step in, in order to follow the constitution. This was what happened with "equal-but-separate" and the segregation of schools. Many of the civil rights laws of the 60s would never have been passed if judges first had not stepped in to follow the Constitution.

One thing that I still remember learning in Mr. McKain's (different spelling and so cute back in those days) government class back at good ol' DHS (Dorrance, Kansas--that was also when church people set about doing good in the community, rather than spewing out hatred) is that one person's rights only go to the point where they do not step on another person's rights. That means (for all of you who still need a lesson in American civics) that your religious rights only go up to the point where they meet a gay person's right to get married or the right to serve in the military. In other words, you do not hold a trump card. You may think you do, "but it ain't so."

It won't be long before more states follow Connecticut. "Times are a changin'" as they say. A lot of the old coots that hold on to this antiquated thinking are older than me and are going to be dying off in the not too distant future. There are people like Fred Phelps, who has brain-washed some of his children and grandchildren, but in tough times, these hate-mongers might find it more beneficial to use their funds to put food on the table than to travel long distances to spout out more of their vile.

Introduction

There are many bloggers on the Internet. Many are usually unknowns and rarely get attention. Most blog about their hobbies, politics, news, weather, and life in general. Some blog to offend other people and are known as “trolls” or “provocateur”.

Since the dawn of time, there have always been people who like to make light of tragedies. The Internet has made them more prominent. They get their jollies by making people mad, especially with really touchy and emotional issues. They are usually losers in life and do it to feel important about themselves. Most of them are usually marginalized by society and exhibit anti-social tendencies. The most notorious is Michael Crook.

Michael Scott Crook

Michael Scott Crook was born on February 15, 1978 in Portland, Oregon. He is the son of Bruce Allen Crook and Mavis N. Delaney. Crook is also known as Michael Vogel-Delaney, which comes from his mother's name. Young Michael's parents divorce and likely it had an impact on him. His mother marries Craig Richard Eggenberger in 1982 moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. He spent most of his childhood in Las Vegas. People who knew Mavis Delaney by all accounts is not a homophobe and racist like her son, Michael Crook.

Crook's mother divorces from Eggenberger in 1991 and moves to Fountains Hill, Arizona, which they spend a year there. Afterward their brief stay they move to Hammonton, New Jersey, where finishes his high school. Sometimes in 1996, Michael Crook had sex with a unknown female and has a illegitimate daughter. Little is known about her. Than he graduated from Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, New Jersey in 1997. It is not too far from Atlantic City. The year Michael graduated, his biological father, Bruce Crook, passed away.

In the summer of 1999, Michael Crook marries Teresa Jean Allen. Michael Crook enlists into the US military, but was discharged in 1999 for unspecified reasons. The military will neither confirm or deny that Michael Crook enlisted in the military. Whatever caused him to be discharged, this may have helped made Crook anti-military. We will probably never know. To make matters worse, his marriage fell apart and Crook and Allen divorced in early 2000.

2 Unlimited

Michael Crook wonders what can he do with his life. Than he in late 2003, Crook meets Elizabeth A. Miller at a church event. Than in early 2004, they are married, which is rather unusual for someone to get married right after they met. Than in March of 2004, they find out they are going to have a daughter, who is born in November of that year.

Michael Crook first exposure was in 2002. He was president of the 2 Unlimited Internet fan club "Unlimited Too Fan Club”. 2 Unlimited is a Eurodance group that formed in 1991 in The Netherlands. 2 Unlimited was one of the most popular groups in Europe in the early 1990s. The Dutch group was not really popular in America, only peaking at number 38 in 1994.

A Racist or Racially Aware?

Crook was also a member of a racist forum called Stormfront, which is a rather large forum. He went by the name “Silentmike”. He denied being a racist, but only “racially aware”. He claims he is writing a book about how Jews fabricated the Holocaust. As of today, no such book has been sold on the Internet. More than likely, he is self-publishing his book. However, many Neo-Nazis and other racists have grown to despise Michael Crook. In many ways, Michael Crook created a lot of enemies among the White supremacist circles.

Finder's Fee For Lost Digital Camera

Michael Crook's first brush with infamy was he found a digital camera that belonged to Army Specialist Elwood Wrigley after a NFL football game in January of 2005 in Philadelphia. Crook would give the digital camera after making Wrigley pay a $1,000 “finder's” fee. It was later determined that Michael Crook was behind it and expressed no remorse. His reason was that you do things out of kindness and is a business world. For him, it is all about the money, possibly because he is deemed unemployable.

When word of it broke, it triggered a lot of outrage and support for Wrigley. At the same time, there was a lot of outrage directed at Michael Crook, which would be the first taste of backlash:

It makes me sick to know that people would do that to someone, especially with pictures that are so precious.

It's such a shame that someone would do that to another person, let alone a person who is fighting to keep our freedom.

Wrigley only requested that he has his memory stick returned. One kind gentleman even offered him a new digital camera. Wrigley volunteered on his second tour of duty in Afghanistan. This would not be the last brush of infamy for Michael Crook. It was the start from an obscure figure to most hated.

Forsake The Troops

Michael Crook created a site called “Citizens Against the Troops” in January of 2005. He claimed that American soldiers were overpaid and overcompensated. Perhaps he created this site out of bitterness of being discharged from the military or was starved for attention. We will probably never know. His website had multiple domains which redirected to his website, including opposethetroops.com and theusasucks.info. Here are some quotes from his vile website:

All of the extra allowances must be eliminated. Soldiers should be made to pay all of their expenses (food, rent, uniforms, etc.) from base salary, just as it is in the real world. The soldiers should be made to pay 100% of the cost of medical insurance, and co-pays should be doubled from their current rate.

If a soldier chooses off-base housing (and is eligible) he/she should pay for it out of base salary. We, the taxpayers, should not pay their rent. Isn't it enough our taxes pay for barracks? We'd be better off with pup tents.

U.S. Soldier= Poster child for retroactive abortion

Hopefully, they knew in their hearts this is abusing taxpayers' money, and they enlisted anyway. So...Forsake our Troops! Let 'em die in combat-- we don't need their ilk in this country!

Number of US soldiers killed in the Iraq War, of their own doing, because they CHOSE to be leeches: 1,586. These scumbags asked for it, and got it. Simper Cry.

These quotes look almost similar to another repulsive person, Fred Phelps. He also said that anyone who served in the military are candidates for retroactive abortion. What we do know is that he appeared on FOX News Channel show, Hannity and Colmes, which got him national exposure. He was being interviewed about his website, “Foresake The Troops”. His website got many hate mail and death threats. After it aired, he became one of the most hated figures. He was ranked as the most hated person on the Internet for 2005 and 2006.

He became a target of hate mail and death threats. He was constantly bombarded with angry messages from all people regardless of politics and if they served in the military or not. Crook was instantly branded as the most hated person in America for his offensive website.

Interestingly, a lot of the contents at his infamous and defunct anti-soldier website are similar to what Fred Phelps and Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) spews out. One would wonder if they are colluding with each other. WBC started to protest soldier's funerals in 2005, around the same time Crook setup his vile website. One could assume that Crook was inspired by WBC protests of soldier's funerals and saw it as an opportunity. It is possible that they were colluding with each other.

Cease and Desist

After Crook appeared on Hannity and Colmes, bloggers used a screen capture of him and posted it on various blogs. An overwhelming majority of bloggers were condemning Crook for his vile anti-soldier website. They put a face to a person behind the website. Also, they wanted to know more about Michael Crook and what his background is. Bloggers soon started receiving Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Letters from Michael Crook Internet Properties. It said that the images of Michael Crook should be taken down or face a lawsuit.

The DMCA letters were coming from Michael Crook. However, the copyright was not owned by Michael Crook, but News Corp. FOX News is owned by News Corp. and goes after people who violate copyright. Apparently, Crook did not like his image being used on blogs to attack him for his vile website. Overnight, he became the most hated person on the Internet and it was cutting through his worthless self-esteem. He could not take the heat from the angry public. He also admitted to sending DMCA letters to people who used his photographs and material. In March of 2007, Crook withdraw his fake DMCA complaints, take a copyright law course, and make a video apology.

The Electronic Freedom Frontier (EFF) sued Michael Crook on the behalf bloggers who received the fake DMCA letter. It was in the Diehl v. Crook, which was on the behalf of Jeff Diehl on November 1, 2007. Crook referred to Diehl as “uber-queer”, which starts to show his homophobic side of him. In some ways, it emboldened Crook and made he even more offensive and defiant against his “enemies”.

Murder Hoax

As his website was being a target extreme hatred. It was announced on May 17, 2005 that two soldiers attacked and killed Michael Crook on the street at night. Crook was dead in a dark alley. However, it turned out to be a hoax. However, he denied faking his own murder. He claimed that hackers broke into house and viciously attacked him. While he was being attacked, the hackers changed his website. However, there is no police report or any signs that he was ever attacked. It showed Crook's other side, he is obsessed with victimhood, so he can get sympathy, which he did not get.

Vile Christmas Card

If his vile anti-military website was bad enough, he sent a vile Christmas card to an injured soldier named Corporal Joshua Sparling, who was injured in Iraq. He was being treated at Walter Reed Medical Center, which is where injured soldiers are treated for their injuries. Christmas is a time for spending time with family and a time of joy. However, for Crook, it was a time to be a vicious person with no conscious. He wanted to show his true anti-soldier colors in real life, not in the Internet. The Christmas card looked like a typical Christmas card, however the content was different:

Have a great time in the war and have a great time dieing in the war.

The origin of the vile Christmas card sent to Sparling was unknown at first. It looked like if a child sent it. Later on, Michael Crook confessed to sending that horrible Christmas card to Sparling.

Craig's List Perverts

Jason Fortuny in 2006 created an ad at Craig's List posing as a woman and got many men's personal information. Crook at first admired Fortuny, but later referred to him as a coward. This inspired Michael Crook to pull something what Fortuny did. He posed as an 18 year old woman named Melissa living in Las Vegas at Craig's List. He did it as a “sting operation” to nail sexual perverts. There were many people who responded to the ad and some even sent pictures of their private parts.

Once he collected all the personal information, he created a website and posted all the information for everyone to see. He justified because NBC's Dateline was doing “To Catch A Predator” and they were going after people who had sex with underage people. Crook posed as an 18 year old woman who is a college student in Las Vegas, which is the legal age of consent. Hundreds of men replied and gave out their personal information and even e-mailed photos of their private parts. He setup a website and posted all their personal informations and their photographs they submitted.

Westboro Baptist Church

Michael Crook is a homophobe and has been known to express hatred towards gays. Paradoxically he says he is a homosexual. He has written multiple entries at his blog admiring and praising WBC. It is led by Fred Phelps and made up of 70 members, mostly his extended family and several other families. It is the group that preaches that the acceptance of homosexuality is the root cause for all disasters and tragedies in America and the world. Their mantra is homosexuals are the root of all evil and God hates the world for it. They got their first attention for protesting Matthew Shepard's funeral. They are also infamous for saying “God Hates Fags”, “Fags Doom Nations”, “God Hates America”, “Thank God for 9/11”, protesting soldier's funerals, and young crime victims. They also refer to other Christian denominations as “fag” churches. They are billed as “America's most hated family” and British documentarian Louis Theroux lived with them for weeks. He described as the most extreme people he has ever encountered. In fact here are what he said about this group at his blog, they are mostly accolades towards them:

Snyder is a sick man, and horrible for harassing Westboro and the Phelps family, I feel.

But as repulsive as some may find their views (I am not one of those who is offended by them), they have the right to free speech and peaceful assembly.

I’ve never had a problem with Westboro Baptist Church, whose members protest at funerals of soldiers. I consider them to be heroes.

I consider Westboro to be right-thinking and heroic, but this latest move just makes no sense.

Despite some disagreements, Crook admires WBC. However, there are barriers if Crook wants to join Westboro Baptist Church. Crook is pro-abortion, while Phelps is anti-abortion. In addition, Michael Crook divorced twice, in which one of his marriage barely lasted a year. Fred Phelps is ardently anti-divorce, which stemmed from his father marrying a divorcee, Olive Briggs, which triggered bad relationship between Fred and the elder Fred Phelps. That can cause some serious conflicts between the two if Crook wanted to join the cult and both are very rigid people. Most likely, WBC will tell Crook he is not welcomed. Both Michael Crook and Fred Phelps despise America and the military. Phelps said about soldiers that they were idiots that could not find a job. Phelps's sermons and so-called protest often call for American soldiers to be killed and does it on the guise of of a twisted pseudo-Christianity. He preaches that God hates the military. On the other hand, Crook does it because he is a failure in life and wants to lash out and see himself as superior over everyone else. Both like to pick on and denigrate young crime victims and crippled people. Fred Phelps goes as far as protesting their funerals.

Megan Meier

When Steve Pokin broke the news about Megan Meier committing suicide in October of 2006. It triggered a lot of outrage towards Lori Drew for masterminding the cruel prank. It made her an international pariah. Public opinion was overwhelmingly against the Drews and later on the Grills. Not surprisingly, Michael Crook came to defend Lori Drew, which was posted at various blogs:

As usual, he was subjected to nasty attacks. Crook was sharing the same sentiment as Lori Drew. Drew told Christina “Tina” Meier, “To give it a rest”, which contributed to her downfall. His blog covered the Megan Meier Suicide Case. It was also reported that Michael Crook was happy and praising Lori Drew and company bullied a person to commit suicide, something he admired them for. Of course, public opinion was against the Drews and company and were branded as the most hated people in America along side with Osama bin Laden/September 11th Terrorists, Fred Phelps, and himself.

Young Victims

Michael Crook also writes in his blogs insulting young victims of crime or accidents, especially when it involved alcohol consumption. Crook is also very anti-alcohol, possibly stemming from his dysfunctional family as a child where his stepfather was likely an alcoholic and had violent tempers. In one instance he wrote about a teenage girl named Lindsey Billman who fell through the skylights at the school. He wrote in this entry:

A so-called honor student fell through a school's skylight, and splattered onto the gym floor. She died, after an apparent night of underage drinking.

Also, he writes about Faith Sinclair, who died in a hit-and-run driver in Sharon Hill in the early morning hours of August 3, 2008. He posted it at Philly.Com, which is cached by Google.

Bottom line is this, Faith wasn't watching where she was going, so quit making her the victim..this one blogger has it right..

This is a case of stupid is as stupid does, unfortunately.

One would wonder why Michael Crook picks on young people who die. It is often assumed he does it for attention, but that is just part of the puzzle. Perhaps it stems from the fact that he had a horrible childhood and wants to lash out at the ones who died because they had a much better childhood and more stable family, unlike which he had.

End Of Trolling?

His website went down and came up under a different address, only to be down again. Michael Crook is currently in some trouble of his own. It involved his temporary employer, Cooper-Levenson, an Atlantic City law firm. He complained that lawyers were consuming alcohol on the job and witnessed mistreatment of employees. Also, his blog no longer exists and fears he could get sued by the law firm he worked for. He goes on complaining that the law firm is out to remove his blog from the Internet. In fact if one tried to access his blog, it says:

Also, his idols Fred Phelps and Lori Drew are in legal trouble of their own and he knows he is next. Phelps and his cult had many legal setbacks and could face foreclosure soon, while Drew could face up to 20 years in prison. Crook realizes his idols are in a world of pain and no one likes them and he is going to feel even more lonely. Than again, he has said, he does not want friends and is not employable and wears it as a badge of honor. Than again, he could be despondent over their legal woes besides his own.

My Comments

First of all, I would like to give a special thank you to Jonathan from Plagiarism Today for giving me new information about Michael Crook. He actually interviewed Crook and has a lot of insight of him.

Sounds like a Fred Phelps wanna-be. I first heard of this nutcase in 2005 when he created his vile anti-soldier site called Forsake The Troops. It triggered a nasty backlash against him that he was the most reviled person. Than I forgot about him until the Megan Meier case came along and he was supporting Lori Drew, who was sharing the title as America's most hated person besides Osama bin Laden and himself. I can see why he was sympathetic to Lori Drew because everyone hates her, like him.

For one pro-Michael Crook site, which is run by him, there are hundreds of anti-Michael Crook site. They are mostly military themed websites and blogs. I wonder how Michael Crook feels being hated by almost everyone. Perhaps he wears it as a badge of honor, which he enjoys all the attention. Or he feels people are making his life a living Hell and went out of way to stage his own death by being murdered by a soldier, which was proven false. FAIL! He always tries to paint himself as a victim. He is many ways a professional victim and is obsessed with victimhood.

My analysis on Michael Crook is that he is obsessed with attention because his family was dysfunctional and went through many divorces. Divorces on a child can be really traumatic. It is likely his parents had constant arguments and fights. Usually constant arguments among parents can lead to divorce. As a result, he became with obsessed with drawing attention to his mother and stepfather to stop fighting. At the same time, he does not like being criticized and throws a fit when someone criticizes him. Of course, lot of people who come from dysfunctional families or have parents that divorce do fine in life and are not like Michael Crook. It leads to another possibility that he is narcissistic, anti-social, and paranoid. Those tend to develop in teenage to early adult years and it is a combination of biological and environmental. Most likely it developed in his early adult years. Here is my analysis on why I think he is a narcissist, anti-social, and paranoid. This is based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-IV (DSM-IV) diagnostic criteria

He meets six of the nine criteria for narcissism:
1.) Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements).
2.) Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love.
3.) Believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions).
4.) Requires excessive admiration.
5.) Has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable. treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations.
6.) Is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends.
7.) Lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others.
8.) Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her.
9.) Shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes.

Six of the seven for anti-social disorder:
1.) Failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrest.
2.) Deceitfulness, as indicated by repeated lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure.
3.) Impulsivity or failure to plan ahead.
4.) Irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults.
5.) Reckless disregard for safety of self or others.
6.) Consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations.
7.) Lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another.

Meets five of the seven for paranoid personality disorder:
1.)Suspects, without sufficient basis, that others are exploiting, harming, or deceiving him or her.
2.)Is preoccupied with unjustified doubts about the loyalty or trustworthiness of friends or associates.
3.)Is reluctant to confide in others because of unwarranted fear that the information will be used maliciously against him or her.
4.)Reads benign remarks or events as threatening or demeaning.
5.)Persistently bears grudges, i.e., is unforgiving of insults, injuries, or slights.
6.)Perceives attacks on his or her character or reputation that are not apparent to others and is quick to react angrily or to counterattack.
7.)Has recurrent suspicions, without justification, regarding fidelity of spouse or sexual partner.

Michael Crook clearly has personality problems as shown by other evil and rotten people. Personality problems are different from mental illness. At least mental illness can be controlled. On the other hand, personality problems, that is up to the person's will to change and in this case, he will not change. What is very clear is that he is addicted to hate, like Fred Phelps. Both share the same hatred for homosexuals, Christians, soldiers, and young crime victims. Ironically, both had some connection to the military. Fred Phelps's father got him into West Point, which he later declined, which caused great friction in his family. Michael Crook enlisted into the Army only to be discharged and likely made him feel very bitter and resentful. In a nutshell, Michael Crook is a attention obsessed, paranoid, and a professional victim.

The same dirty gene pool that spawned Fred Phelps, spawned Michael Crook. You got to be evil to be a provocateur. Crook is a lot like Fred Phelps and looks like a younger Fred Phelps. Both Crook and Phelps are known to own multiple domain names on the Internet. As pointed out, Crook has admired and praised Fred Phelps and his vile group. He and Phelps deserve each other and I am pretty sure Michael Crook has homoerotic fantasies about his beloved idol Fred Phelps. Hey Michael if you love WBC so much, why don't you just go move to Topeka and live at their lame ass compound. They accepted Steve Drain's family into their sorry excuse of a group that calls themselves church. It is no wonder why Crook admires Phelps and WBC because they are worthless like he is. Than again, Phelps is anti-abortion, while Crook is pro-abortion. Also, Crook divorced twice, which Phelps hates. That will cause conflicts between the two losers and he will feel rejected by his beloved hero and idol. Also, Crook is rumored and claims to be gay, which will not float to well with Phelps. Than again, Phelps is a closeted homosexual and acts the way he is because of that. Both of them are addicted to hate for different reasons. Phelps does it under the guise of religion, while Crook does it make himself feel better about his worthless self. Phelps and Crook are also despised by almost everyone, even by the fringe element. Sometimes, I wonder if Michael Crook is a bastard child of Fred Phelps since they look alike and they act the same.

Since Michael Crook says soldiers deserve retroactive abortion, he is proof why we need to bring back eugenics. He is the perfect reason for retroactive abortion. He is what I think is an accident and his mother should of aborted him. In fact, Michael Crook and his mother are estranged. Crook attacked people who lives in trailer parks, which his own mother lives in. How ironic of him to insult people who live in trailer park. It is pot calling kettle black. He is a freak of nature that should have been wiped out by natural selections a long time ago. The gene pool needs a massive cleaning with so we can rid them of evil and bad seeds like him.

Michael Crook is a pathetic, sad, and worthless excuse of a human being. He is not even human at all. Being human is not just a race, it is also a state of mind, which Crook lacks. Michael Crook should be banished from the human race. He is the biggest loser of all, the King of Losers. Well besides all the evil people humanity as seen. I have news for you, two of your beloved idols, Fred Phelps and Lori Drew are in a world of shit and you should realize your days are numbered too. How are you going to take it when WBC ceases to exist and likely Fred Phelps and company commit mass suicide, while Lori Drew most likely will go to prison and probably get killed by other prisoners? It will be a very sad and lonely day for you. Michael Crook is going to Hell for sure.

That’s probably why Fred Phelps and his Westboro Baptist Church family have plans to Picket the parade--they seem to love large crowds and public media attention (see, e.g., WBC'S China Olympic Picket News Release). Based on the WBC’s below stated picket schedule, it appears as though Fred Phelps' clan has plans to follow Michael Phelps around the Maryland area, as Michael and others are saluted for their recent U.S. Olympic Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals. 

I don’t know, but to me, there’s just something extremely hilarious about this particular Fred Phelps WBC picket, although not in a ha-ha sort of way; but rather, in an ironically weird sort of way. Fred Phelps is going to picket Michael Phelps, who's father‘s name is Fred Phelps (see also Michael Phelps).  In some strange way, Fred Phelps of the WBC is picketing himself....

The level of profanity in Phelp’s sermons far exceeds Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s pulpit ravings. Unaware or unconcerned that profanity is determined by social norms, Phelps calls his enemies dumb a*****, jerks, whimps and other pejoratives. Incredibly, he excuses this vulgarity as the language of the Holy Ghost!*

But on this count, there’s not much to say. He’s simply a foul-mouthed hate-monger.

Of greater concern are the images Westboro reproduces. Unfortunately, I cannot go into much detail without myself being obscene, so I cautiously recommend you visit PriestsRapeBoys.com for a sampling of these images, some of which include graphic depictions of children. (Again, proceed with caution, the images are pornographic; children should not visit this site.)

Westboro’s banners and signs are another instance of this obscenity. Frankly, if adult bookstores painted similar things on their storefronts, the police would shut them down. I wonder how Westboro skirts public indecency laws in the communities they protest.

Their video productions are even more graphic. One video on the aforementioned website includes cartoon images of... I don’t even know how to say it; it’s that obscene.

Free speech is one thing. Freedom of religion another. But neither protects obscenity. While I won’t say Westboro doesn’t have a right to hate, they certainly don’t have a right to slop vulgarity into the public market.

Someone once told me that the best way to demoralize groups like the Phelps clan is to laugh at them. Now, I find precious little to laugh about when confronting such horrible bigotry and hatred, but this was absolutley priceless. Let us not take Phelps and his band of pasty, quivering homophobes seriously. Let us mock them openly and with as much derision and hilarity as we can. At the very least, he'll end up having an aneurism from the fit he'll throw. 

Via the Arkansas Times blog we learn that Fred Phelps and his band of homophobic bigots from Westboro Baptist Church were recently driven out of Little Rock by a merry marauding band of Central Arkansas Pastafarians. The Pastafarians dressed as pirates in honor of International Talk Like A Pirate Day,  waved swords and signs bearing slogans such as "God hates shrimp -- Leviticus" and "God hates cotton-polyester blends" confronted Phelps' group. Passing cars honked and waved at the pleased Pastafarians while a nearby TV crew captured their antics, ignoring the group from Westboro Baptist. Eventually Phelps and the other anti-homosexual protesters were forced to pack up their "Fags Doom Nations" and "You're Going To Hell" signs and leave town. Priceless!

Does anyone know who this is? I bet most no one would recognize this man, but a few might know his name. It is more likely that you know the name of his church, but I won't spoil the surprise just yet. I don't know if you see it, but I do. This man is the living embodiment of hate. That is all he cares about.

Do you remember that really unsound group of "Christians" that came to the Lamar Mirabeau Head and preached a bunch of absurdities? What did you think about that group after they left? I thought a few things: liars, hypocrisy, and most of all... HATE.

My God. This man, pictured above, lives and breathes the concept of hate. There is nothing he'd rather do. He's like a junkie who's got to get his daily fix of anti-anything. You're going to hell for cutting your hair, being from Sweden, being Catholic, etc.

Proverbs 4:16 says:

"For they (evil men) cannot sleep unless they have caused trouble or vexation; their sleep is taken away unless they have caused someone to fall."

I'm sure this is the case with Fred Phelps and his congregation. They can't rest unless they've caused enough trouble.

Moving on... For the following clip, which is a trailer to the 2007 documentary "Fall from Grace", which is about this man and his church, you must:

At several points in the documentary, this children are either passively or aggressively proclaiming how stupid these fags are... these evil beasts, as they put it. These kids are being bred to hate. They are being bred into one of the seven deadly sins. What can anyone do about that? They are already brainwashed it seems.

It breaks my heart to see this hate coming from the mouths of little children. The documentary plainly shows how the kids know nothing about what they speak. It is just regurgitated garbage from their parents.

Speaking of family, it's pathetic to see that the majority of the congregation of this man's church is his immediate family. He has 13 children, and only 4 have rejected the church and abandoned all contact with this evil man. The others were successfully brainwashed. So, 9 children that support the church, and they have kids and grandchildren. He is building up a nice little cult to ravish the image of Christianity. I am so thankful for people like that.

What do I do about that? I know I must pray for them. I must pray that God silences them somehow. I am a bit more calm now, but the documentary wants to make you strangle them. My brother Phil said it's almost like someone in society should take one for the team and just take them all out... haha. I understand what he means. I cannot take the callousness and hate they give off.

This man is Fred Phelps, the pastor of Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas. I don't know why the church claims to be baptist. There is no baptist association across this country that would take them. They are radical, fundamental, legalistic renegades. I should hope that Christians and non-Christians realize they are a problem, and they in no way reflect Christianity across the globe.

Oh! I forgot to mention this part entirely. What Westboro Baptist Church does is go and picket events across the country. They will go to universities, gay pride events, synagogues, churches and funerals. They love to protest the funerals of American soldiers. The documentary deals with an example of that, and I feel so sorry for widow who had to go through that. Anyway, they love to hold up signs that merely shock and anger people. They think that when people get mad (and rightly so) that they are getting brownie points from God. They think they are suffering. I might as well ask a fag to hit me across the face so I can get a few more jewels in my crown when I get to heaven.

I don't know where this term "feminazi" originated, although I heard it was Rush Limbaugh. Whoever made it up, it is a good term to describe the attitude that some women have for men in general. The word "militant" is just an enhancer word. These are the staunch feminists that destroy homes and marriages. I've met a few feminists in my lifetime and I could see that they were just begging to get into an argument. Some women really thrive off attacking men every chance they get. Many marriages have been destroyed by a meddling feminist. Of course, hen pecked husbands and sissies are exempt. A real man is a threat to the feminist's agenda. Feminism is sin. It is wrong because it is a rebellion against authority (and against God). God has ordained that the man is to be the head of the household. The wife is to SUBMIT to her own husband...

"feminazi"? Ooo thats good! I like it, however it appears this littleman (why else would he have this rage?) has mistaken the meaning. To all the loonies out there it probably does mean what Jr said, but to the feminists out there it can also have the meaning of people who are against feminism. Come on! I can't see people shouting "YOU FEMINIST NAZI!" No "feminazi" does sound better (although at the same time it kinda sounds like a sanitary towel or tampon), you can call it to us and we can call it to you. People who think like this make me smile to myself, you definitely can't accuse them of being smart! Maybe that was too harsh, yes they can't see logic but are they all thick? Some are actually very smart, just because they are sexist bastards doesn't change that. It does however, make me feel better.

According to him feminists destroy marriages and break people apart, I wouldn't say that. Look at my parents for example, my mum tells my dad what to do and if he knows whats good for him he does it. Its not about obeying your husband its about the training you give him. If you train him right he wont let his mind wonder because then he might realise its too little (among other things) to be out on its own. Hmm, that was a bit mean, I take it back for the decent guys. For those who believe this giant turd I enforce it with a huge grin.

But what really made me grin was the comment that "A real man is a threat to the feminist's agenda"; feminist agenda?! hah, its like he trying to say we're spies! *insert evil laugh here* :P After reading that bit it did take a while to compose myself because I kept have these visions of hundreds of women, with a russian accent, corrupting men. I couldn't stop laughing.

He says it is a woman's role to submit to their husbands right next to the dribble about feminist destroying marriages. Hmp, if he were my husband and he'd told me to "submit" not only would we have a divorce pretty damn quick but I would have killed him, that is after I stopped laughing. And yes maybe that does make me a marriage destroying feminist, but the way I see it is if you don't have enough respect for yourself that you would allow that treatment I'm glad I'm the ostracized one, because the day that would happen would be the worst day of my life.

My wife is NOT a feminist! She is a Christ-honoring woman and submits to my authority. My wife hates feminism because she knows it goes AGAINST God and His Word. We've been married now for 17 years. She likes to make the feminists mad when we're in the store. She'll ask me in front of feminist women if she can buy something. You can see the dirty looks on their faces. My wife likes to say, "wait, I need to go ask my husband" or "He pays the bills, ask him." It drives the feminists nuts when a wife submits to her husband. I really admire my wife's loyalty and obedience to the Word of God and me. She's my best friend.

Oh your wife is not a feminist is she? oh she's a Christ-honoring woman is she? Is she from LAF by any chance? no? yes? make up your mind. You been married for 17 years? With a guy like you I don't see that as much of a marriage, more like a prison sentence- except at the moment I'm not sure, is the life or the death penalty?

Oh and I have news for you Jr, feminists dont give dirty looks because your wife likes to say "wait, I need to go ask my husband" or "He pays the bills, ask him." When you are in a committed relationship it is only sensible to ask your partner about out going money. For example if a noob like you went shopping you would probably buy what ever you wanted and not tell your wife which means she has to tell you so that she can work out whether you (as a pair) have enough money. They give dirty looks because they are either a) noticing you and your wife (does she really exist?) are trying way too hard or b) thinking maybe you should look in the mirror before you go out in future.

Another line that really made me see how this guy felt was this one: " really admire my wife's loyalty and obedience to the Word of God and me. She's my best friend." So basically she's you pet. Man's best friend? Loyalty and obedience. Just what you want from a dog, that and the best friend thing. Now i'm not saying your fictional wife is a dog, I'm saying you treat her like a dog.

This guy makes me laugh, not only because of his attitude but also because he has a make-believe wife that only he can see and hear. It seems his wife and I have something in common though, I like to make anti-feminists mad, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :D Especially when they start trying to preach, I pretend I'm listening then laugh at them. Reading this it makes me wonder who wrote it, out of John McCain and Fred Phelps, which would you put your money on?

Now I will say that this kind of radicalism isn't new to me. My first real experience with it was in first year politics, during a discussion group about the September 11th attacks. Ever since I watched the Twin Towers fall on a small television in my high school cafeteria, I have been passionate about the issue, and when I sat there and listened to a group of radicals discuss how America deserved it, I got mad. That was the last politics class I took, knowing full well that University of Ottawa professors were filling these students' heads with anti-institutional, anti-capitalist, anti-American ideas. The University Centre was usually filled with these people trying to push one radical cause after another, and, knowing what I know now about the true face of Socialism from my time spent in China, I find it rather disturbing to think people still buy into it. Even after the failure of the Soviet Union, I am amazed to see that this ideology lives on, rather pathetic really...

It isn't just politics, same goes with history class. Depending on the subject, you just might find yourself in front of a radical in an educator's clothing. I made the mistake of taking a class on the history of the Vietnam Wars. The professor, a woman, made a point that we (the students) should be careful when doing our research since the Vietnamese government, after the fall of Saigon, rewrote the history books to promote views they wanted. What does she do right after saying this? Starts talking about how great things were after the Americans were pushed out and teaching the rewritten history. She also used the "politically correct" dating system, BCE and CE, to further top off her overly liberal approach to this topic. In defiance, I wrote a paper on the evils of the Vietcong and the North Vietnamese government, a paper which she tore apart. On what you might add? Well that my sources were biased. Explain to me how the personal accounts of Reeeducation camp survivors is biased? Under that logic, we should have listened to the testimony of Nazi concentration camp guards before believing the stories of those who survived the Holocaust. What a waste of money that course was...

With all this, it is no surprise that radicalism is so prominent on campus' across the Western world, but you would hope that when these students leave them, when they are in the real world, that they would realize that they spent too long listening to propaganda from people trying to push their radical agenda. Problem is, by the time they do leave school, they are already indoctrinated to the point where they can't be helped. Groups like PETA bombard campus' and those their recruit are then sent back to become recruiters themselves. Anti-war groups like CodePink, however, impose their twisted will on anyone and anywhere they deem fit. While it is in the guise of legitimate protest, this group's actions cross legal lines, mostly breaking the laws regarding harassment and vandalism. Videos of these actions can be found all over the internet, but very few of them are honest representations of what really happens.

The link above shows a video CodePink's attempt to close down a Marine Corps Recruitment Center in Berkley, California. Fox News also covered this story, helping bring pressure from people around the country to bring about the end of this disgraceful protest. The worst part was that Berkley's city council actually declared the Marines unwanted in their limits, a ruling which changed very quickly when they realized their stupidity would result in a multi-million dollar fine. That was the kind of cowardice I discussed in my post last night. It that whatever they can't tolerate, they try to destroy in one way or another...

Is this any surprise? We have seen this kind of tactic before, something Laura Ingrham herself has addressed. Sunsara Taylor is a symbol of what is wrong with this movement, and as you can see in the video, she refuses to even acknowledge Ingrham's view, let alone let her express it. As a member of The World Can't Wait, a group very similar to CodePink, Sunsara believes that "the means justifies the ends", no matter how twisted these "ends" are. The rights of others aren't their concern, and acting in their own self interest, do everything from storming the stages of universities and colleges around the country, to camping out in front of the homes and offices of those who they believe are enemies to their ambitions, including Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Now while I am definitely not her biggest fan, I do believe that their actions involving her were disturbing. It wasn't as bad as their protest of Secretary of State Condileeza Rice, a truly upsetting event which could have had a far worse ending then it did. Freedom of speech, in that event, was abused, and with these radicals, we don't know how far they would have gone to push their agenda if security wasn't there.

Anti-American radicalism doesn't just extend to the far-left, but also the far-right. Reverend Fred Waldron Phelps' protest of the funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq enraged an entire nation. His homophobic beliefs cost him $10.9 million dollars, but many of these hatemongers get away with their crimes. The radical left, for example, is well known for abusing the constitutional rights found in our system, a system which they want to bring down. Bill Ayers, a friend of Senator Barack Obama, wasn't really punished for his involvement in the Weathermen bombings, something this former domestic terrorist gloats about. Thanks to a legal error, him and his wife Bernadine Dohrn, were never charged in connection to a slew of bombings his group carried out. It is upsetting to see that their actions and the fact that they were never really punished for them, inspires more radicals to commit such hateful crimes...

All in all, this political season has shown just how ugly these extremists can get to force their beliefs on us. I fear that nothing short of a prison sentence can stop these people from continuing these actions. In all honesty, police should step in and actually enforce the punishments to the laws these radicals break during their protests. Many of them, including Amy Goodman, are simply slapped on the wrist and let go with a warning. With their actions becoming ever more brash, sooner or later one of these anti-American traitors will cross a line which will finally make people realize that something needs to be done. The problem is, until that happens, these hateful displays will be protected by laws which they knowing abuse. It is scary that these laws which were enacted to protect the people of this land, are now keeping them powerless to defend their own rights and freedoms. That, my friends, is something I find terrifying...
