Somehow, like the rest of the people who boast about their dedication to preserving our surroundings, this slew of ads from Chevy seems like hot air packaged in a can of phony.

It's not just Chevrolet. Honda, Toyota, and Ford are guilty of this as well - the green façade. If the automakers really want to convince me that they're sincere, lower the prices on hybrid vehicles. I don't understand how eco-friendly equates to draining the bank account, since every piece of evironmentally beneficial technology comes with a hefty price tag. It seems to me that conglomerates are simply riding the momentum of environmental awareness and looking to profit.

Perhaps what's really been bugging me is the fact that caring about the environment has become an accessory item. It's a cellphone charm that dangles from pockets and purses; a quick aside that everyone likes to drop in conversation; the hip bandwagon to be on. It riles me to see people flaunt what they are already obligated to do. And who knows if they're actually doing it? As it turns out, talk is cheap, literally and figuratively. For something with a lot of bang, no bucks are required - hot air expelled results in lengthy spells of self-congratulatory euphoria.

El opening es de los mejores (aunque yo no lo elegiría para representar a Naruto como el mejor opening, como he visto por ahí) y los endings son decentes. No sé si es aquí el Ima Made Nando Mo, un ending que me encanta y que casi nadie suele reseñar. Por otra parte, supongo que soy demasiado imaginativo, pero yo hubiera dejado a Naruto secuestrado y mostraría la caza de Itachi y Kisame por toda Konoha; Orochi podría recibir la negativa de Tsunade solo, de todas formas. Quizá era una saga demasiado bestia si se tenía en mente la segunda temporada...

EL DUELO queda suprimido en esta reseña. En las series largas es difícil no repetir duelos, y por ahora Shippuuden parece que va a serlo (que viene a ser casi como repetir)...

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm traz o melhor visual cell-shading já visto em um game. Ele praticamente se iguala ao anime, é quase impossível distinguir se é uma cena do anime ou do jogo. E tudo isso pôde ser alcançado através do poder do PlayStation 3, pelo menos é o que eu penso, acho que uma coisa desse nível não conseguiria ser realizada na geração anterior.

O game tem data de lançamento prevista para 15 de outubro para PlayStation 3, e conta com um novo sistema de batalha, cenários tridimensionais bastante amplos, golpes cooperativos entre personagens, um modo de missões, e 25 personagens com sistema de evolução.

Naruto : Rise of a ninja ( Xbox360)

Naruto: Rise of a Ninja(Roan) is a game following the early stages of the popular anime Naruto. As the title suggest the game follows a young boy in a quest to become a ninja and ultimately the hokage(leader) of the Village hidden in the leaves.

The story follows pretty close to the actual anime with a few noticeable differences. The story is rather good in the anime but it somehow fails to be portrayed good in the game. With little focus on characters and story and more focus on game play it will leave fans of the series with an unshakable hunger. Even though Naruto does progress in terms of ability and strength the game fails to show how Naruto progress in a more emotional level.

Roan is also a rather short game that stops right after the Chuunin exams. Getting to the end of the game can either be real quick or really long, depending on how you handle your missions. If you decide to take all the side quests then you can increase the games life with at least a few hours. If you choose to only do the main missions you can easily finish the game in a day or two.

So there is two main games with in Roan. Firstly being the fighting game where as in any arcade fighter you are entered onto a level or arena and you have to fight of the enemy. The other part of the game features a lot more mini-games. This sends you to do missions for various people in the village. There are a handful of mini games to keep you busy and it is also well balanced in the sense of when you get tired of a certain game you can attempt something else.

You start of in an open world environment where you can run around the village and leap from rooftop to rooftop. Once you get faster you’ll find it a tad annoying that you crash into walls a lot when not slowing down at points. Because when you crash Naruto gets dizzy and takes a while to get ready for action.

The control scheme for the fights in my opinion is awe full but it works great in the same sentence. Awful because you only have 2 main attack buttons where as in other fighters you have 4(kick and punch, high and low). Yet with only 2 buttons it does make life a little bit easier for the player.

The game in completely cell shaded and does look good. It still looks awkward here and there but who cares when it is cell shaded anyway?

The one thing that really bugs me the most about this game is the lack of characters. Especially in the fighting sections. Half of the characters you’d expect to be there isn’t there and it really is a shame for such an entertaining game to fall short on at this point.

If I look past that I definitely think it was the money worth but I would only recommend it to people who have seen the anime. Since the story might seem confusing to newcomers.

I am partial to Japanese anime when they involve mysterious powers, battles between good and evil, and ambivalent character or two who might be a good guy and might not.

The Japanese seem to churn out this watchable stuff while all I see coming out here is crap like Ed, Ed and Eddy. And which one of you Chowder Heads, ordered Chowder, or Flap Jack. Mostly unwatchable crap. Even that imaginary friends show got old after awhile.

Compare that to say The Avatar or that Samuari Jack show.

How is it there is so much schlock here and so many Gems coming out of Japan. They seem to be willing to spend the money to attract and depict interesting myths and legends.

American cartoons and kids shows appear to be about stupidity. Appearing stupid, learning to be stupid, living with stupid people. Only occasionally do the makers of children's fare here forget to be stupid and turn out something not half bad like that cute teenage witch show or Ben 10. Sponge Bob and the Fairy God parents aren't that bad.

Come to think of it though, the genesis for these rambling musings, Naruto is a first class, grade A idiot. Nevertheless, the show is interesting. It depicts a alternate universe and peoples it with interesting characters.

I don't know if characters or the world on Ed, Ed an Eddy are interesting because the drawing is just too annoying to watch. What dialogue I have heard on that show before managing to change the channel was imbecilic. There is a concept called the pathetic fallacy. If you want to show people a character in a story is bored, you don't do it by making the audience fall asleep. The people who made Naruto know this. The makers of Ed,Ed and Eddy do not.

When they do make good American cartoons like the Dark Knight Batman, or Superman or anything backed by DC or Marvel comics, they are too short lived. and we must subsist on a meager ration of reruns.

Uzumaki Naruto

Naruto evidentemente es el protagonista de la serie, se crió en la Villa de Konoha donde durante mucho tiempo no fue bien aceptado ya que el Hokage de la Villa sello en su cuerpo a kyubi, una bestia en forma de zorro gigante que pretendía destruir Konoha.

Mi percepción de Naruto es la de una persona valiente y luchadora que ha sido capaz de sobrepasar desde pequeño los gestos de desprecio que los aldeanos tenían hacia el, pero en vez de convertir todo eso en rencor opto por ganarse la confianza de todos y cada uno de ellos protegiendo la aldea y a sus amigos mientras incrementaba su fuerza para cumplir su mayor sueño que era ni mas ni menos que convertirse en Hokage. Sin ninguna duda la personalidad de Naruto es una demostración clara del verdadero camino que debe seguir todo ser humano, buscando el lado positivo de las cosas, luchando por sus objetivos y dejando tras si una buena huella que marca a las personas que han formado parte de su vida,para el lo mas importante es la amistad por eso intenta rescatar a su ex - compañero de equipo Sasuke de las garras del malvado Orochimaru, piensa que en la vida vamos creando lazos con algunas personas y que hay que mantenerlos. En conclusión Naruto es una muestra de superación, esperanza, amistad, amor, simpatía y carisma.

Sasuke

Sasuke pertenece al clan de los Uchiha, estos utilizan una técnica muy poderosa que reside en sus ojos llamada Sharingan, con estos ojos pueden copiar todas las técnicas que observen durante una lucha, sin contar que el Sharingan se puede fortalecer y cambiar de modalidad mediante algunas practicas, una de ellas y quizás las mas famosa es la de matar a tu mejor amigo.

La vida de Sasuke no ha sido nada fácil, su hermano Itachi mato a toda su familia excepto a el, desde ese día solo vive para vengarlos sin importar el camino que tenga que tomar para ello.

Bajo mi punto de vista Sasuke es una modalidad opuesta a Naruto, ya que no le importa los medios a utilizar para conseguir su objetivo aun así es un personaje que se hace querer y en el que en cierto modo todos podemos entender su comportamiento ya que su base parte de un motivo tan sentimental y profundo como es la familia, aunque con ella su vida queda totalmente desahuciada para centrarse en el cumplimiento de un objetivo concreto que hará que cualquier vestigio de amor y amistad queden enterrados para evitar desconcentrarse de cual es su razón para vivir. 

Sakura

Junto con Naruto y Sasuke formaban el equipo kakashi, en sus inicios solo era una carga para el grupo, ya que era las mas débil y descuidada, su imagen de ninja coqueta jamas le ha hecho ningún bien ya que nadie ha sabido tomarla en serio, una de sus mejores amigas fue Ino, aunque en el anime escasamente se muestra esa relación, siempre estuvo enamorada de Sasuke pero en Naruto Shippuden se comienza entrever un posible enamoramiento hacia Naruto y vemos un gran avance de ella como Ninja, ya que de su entrenamiento con la Hokage Tsunade ha sabido sacar un buen partido, heredando de esta ultima su bestial fuerza y sus conocimientos medicinales, lo que la hace ser una de las mejores ninja medico que existen.

Sobre Sakura podemos decir muchas cosas, pero quizas podamos destacar una, la fuerza de la imagen en las personas, las falsas percepciones que se crea el ser humano en la cabeza ¿Acaso no puede ser una mujer más fuerte que un hombre? ¿No puede una chica con un lazo rosa darte un puñetazo y romperte todos los huesos? Claro que si, es una enseñanza básica, que creo que debemos aprender todos, y bueno una secundaria es la de no dejarnos llevar por las apariencias, quizás por tu confianza en lo que tu crees posible o poco posible pueda llegar un puño agarrando un kunai y desgarrar tu carne.

Durante la conferenza Ubisoft dell’E3 2008 è stato mostrato il primo video con sequenze giocate di Naruto: Broken Bond, nuovo gioco di azione in esclusiva Xbox 360.

Le meccaniche di gioco sembrano a metà fra l’action e il picchiaduro, con alcuni momenti di esplorazione e qualche abbozzo di elementi GDR.

Naruto: Broken Bond uscirà il prossimo novembre.
