I really enjoy Scott Adams's provocative blog. As a fan of Dilbert since I was first boxed up 13 years ago, I know Adams to be a great wit, but his blog shows more sides to his insights, like today's opening line in an entry about taxes:

As you know, fairness is a concept that was invented so that children and idiots could participate in arguments.

In addition to being funny, the post is a good reminder that lower tax rates can raise more taxes, if set right.

FSM designs one of the most powerful -Open Source Content Management Systems on the planet. It is used all over the world for everything fro-m simple websites to complex corporate applications. FSM websites are easy to install, simple to manage, and reliable.

Call us for a quote, sites start at $300 954-239-9733 or rolly@fsmprint.com

What is a content management system?: (from wikipedia)

A content management system (CMS) is computer software used to create, edit, manage, and publish content in a consistently organized fashion.[1] CMSs are frequently used for storing, controlling, versioning, and publishing industry-specific documentation such as news articles, operators' manuals, technical manuals, sales guides, and marketing brochures. The content managed may include computer files, image media, audio files, electronic documents, and Web content.

A CMS may support the following features:

identification of all key users and their content management roles;

the ability to assign roles and responsibilities to different content categories or types;

definition of workflow tasks for collaborative creation, often coupled with event messaging so that content managers are alerted to changes in content (For example, a content creator submits a story, which is published only after the copy editor revises it and the editor-in-chief approves it.);

the ability to track and manage multiple versions of a single instance of content;

the ability to publish the content to a repository to support access to the content (Increasingly, the repository is an inherent part of the system, and incorporates enterprise search and retrieval.);

separation of content's semantic layer from its layout (For example, the CMS may automatically set the color, fonts, or emphasis of text.).

It's been several weeks in the making; attempts to make simple HTML work, using a minimum of Flash and some inadvertent strides into CSS land, but here you go:

http://www.helensventitsky.com.

Everything's in an IFrame. I wanted to make everything as simple and maneuverable as possible. The design as it is should make it easy for me to add on a bit here and there, and I'll probably get into trouble for the tag line in the bottom ("Lyrical sharpshooter"? What am I? A rapper? Still, it was late, you know?)

i had no idea it could be so hard to waste time without internet. the neighbors put an end to our wireless thievery so i haven't been able to read trashy blogs in FOREVER. which led to the most productive few days i've had maybe all summer.

but it also means that if the bar prep folks send out new files or if emails need to be written, i'm crap outta luck.

but that's why i'm camping out at the one place i know of that has free wifey right now.

not having intarwebs means that it's been a few days since i've experienced any good hearty feminist rage. it's easy to forget that misogynists exist when you're just happily quarantined in your home with a pile of lawyerbooks. but then i just HAD to get back online and find out that InTouch magazine totally had a "Top 10 celebrity boobs" list, and now i'm back to feeling "indignant," which is a gentle word for "ready to choke some bitches."

we rate boobs. this is the state our society is in. we rate women's breasts. i keep feeling like every time i fall asleep, the level of idiot behavior we'll accept from stupid horny men rises a few acres. more and more demeaning idiot behavior becomes more and more acceptable. ..... WTF. it's like the feminist movement keeps making leaps (enough so that a woman was actually soooooo damn close to candidacy - absolutely undreamt of in years past) - but as it happens, the gap widens and the bar of decency drops (enough so that someone would actually scream shit like "iron my shirt" at her and the news media won't even call it sexist - it's "seemingly sexist.").

somewhere along the way some slutbag douche was like "women care what we think," and nobody challenged him. and now they all think we care whose breasts they like and wonder how we measure up in comparison or who they think looks best in a fucking bikini. fuck that shit. if they want to separate a woman's breasts from her identity as a human being, then i invite them to sit at home with a Playboy and a pair of scissors. fuck.

let's find some unsavory objectification-ish behavior in women and celebrate it with trashy Top 10 lists too. like, "Top 10 men whose gold women would like to dig" or "Top 10 men to use once or twice for free drinks and a forgettable night out."

no? that's disrespectful? oh, ok. but rating women by their breasts, that's totally cool.

Yes, convinced that Wikipedia, aside from its real sins, is a hotbed of “liberal bias”,

Yes, convinced that Wikipedia, aside from its real sins, is a hotbed of "liberal bias", people have come together to create a serious Conservative (US sense) alternative. Let's see how they define "liberal" -- and anything more parochial and US-centred is hard to imagine. No, this is not Landover Baptist Church. I only wish it were.

Liberal - Conservapedia

A liberal supports many of the following political positions and practices:

A government with large spending on social programs, and high taxes to support such programs

Taxpayer-funded and/or legalized abortion

Income redistribution, usually through progressive taxation

Government-rationed and taxpayer-funded medical care, such as Universal Health Care

Taxpayer-funded public education

The denial of inherent gender differences

Wanting men and women to have the same access to jobs in the military

Legalized same-sex marriage

Implimentation of affirmative action

Censorship of teacher-lead prayer in classrooms and school sponsored events

Support of labor unions

Teaching "comprehensive" sex-ed programs instead of abstinence-only programs.[1]

A "living Constitution" that is reinterpreted in a modern context, instead of how it was originally intended

Support for gun control

Opposition to an interventionalist American foreign policy [3]

Support of obscenity and pornography as a First Amendment right[4]

Opposition to full private property rights[5]

Reinstating the Fairness Doctrine

In 2005, it was reported by CBS News that liberals were the most likely supporters of the theory of evolution. Support for the theory of evolution which is a key component of atheistic ideologies in the Western World.

Opposition to domestic wire-tapping as authorized in the Patriot Act

Feel free to express your disbelief! I seriously thought this to be satire, but am convinced after looking at other articles that it is not.

After that definition comes more detail which you can check for yourselves.

I of course immediately looked up Kevin Rudd, John Howard (both showing my own parochialism of course), and then evolution and global warming.

Of course this, unlike Wikipedia, is "objective" isn't it? No bias here! Yeah, sometimes, but not often... Otherwise, from what I have seen this is as tendentious and dishonest a project -- dishonest in its naked political agenda -- as I have ever seen.

Am I too harsh?

The horrible thought is that for some this could become knowledge and teh TROOF!

Oh, and if you do think I am too unfair, check their funny little cartoon beside the definition of "liberal".

And do note, just for fun, how "liberal" by the definition above John Howard turns out to have been. Yes, he also scores rather well on "conservatism" in the eccentric US sense in some areas, but he famously supported gun control, ran a government-funded medicare program (even if attenuated perhaps), did have progressive taxation as all Oz governments have (though skewed in his case), spent on social programs, and maintained our position on the death penalty -- we don't have one in Australia. Why, Johnnie H was almost a Commie!

God save us from US conservatives! I may add, too, that there is almost no resemblance between that brand of conservatism and the conservatism that imbues the work of Alexander McCall Smith, whose recent novel I mentioned earlier today, much of which I can empathise with, sometimes even agree with; and even, dare I say, there is not much in that brand of conservatism that would appeal to very many in our own Liberal [i.e. Conservative] and National Parties, certainly not to the ones I have actually spoken to, though it has gained more traction in some circles than it merits.

RELATED

What Would Jesus Wiki? Cool headline there in Wired, but we could all do with reminding that Jesus is not/was not a conservative American. As many American Christians well know.

my little brother brought this comic book a year ago from his school. super naadict ako at hindi ko na binalik. this is a story of a 6-year-old boy, calvin who has a stuffed tiger named hobbes. pero kapag sila nalang dalawa ang magkasama, nagiging totoong tiger si hobbes and they play, become naughty, and talk about everything. haay, they're super cute.

matagal na ko nagahhanap sa bookstore neto eh kaya lang retired na pala ang illustrator neto na si bill watterson last 1995 pa. i saw a full compilation of this comic book sa amazon worth $6 ata, naku someday mabibili ko din yun.

this is a sample of c&h's comic strip:

**more of c&h's comic strip at simplych and progressiveboink**

Some of c&h's quotable quotes na nakakainspire ay ang mga sumusunod: check it out! Quoted from here.

Calvin...

"We're so busy watching out for what's just ahead of us that we don't take time to enjoy where we are."

"That's one of the remarkable things about life. It's never so bad that it can't get worse."

"The only skills I have the patience to learn are those that have no real application in life."

"There's never enough time to do all the nothing you want."

"If you do the job badly enough, sometimes you don't get asked to do it again."

"Life's disappointments are harder to take when you don't know any swear words."

To make a bad day worse, spend it wishing for the impossible.

"There's an inverse relationship between how good something is for you and how much fun it is."

"The strength to change what I can, the inability to accept what I can't, and the incapacity to tell the difference."

"So the secret to good self esteem is to lower your expectations to te point where they're already met?"

"You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocketship underpants don't help."

"Life is like topography, Hobbes. There are summits of happiness and success...flat stretches of boring routine...and valleys of frustration and failure."

Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.

"Things are never quite as scary when you've got a best friend."

Hobbes...

"The best presents don't come in boxes."

"Van Gogh would've sold more than one painting if he put tigers in them."

"Live and don't learn, that's us."

"I think we dream so we don't have to be apart so long. If we're in each other's dreams, we can play together all night!"

"If you couldn't find any weirdness, maybe we'll just have to make some!"

haay, if somebody can just give me a book about these creatures, promise ililibre ko talaga siya ng kape. promise yan. okay, back to work na. :)

according to my dear friend, nickie, ganoderma daw is made of mushroom na may antioxidants churva. yan talaga ang sabi nia ah. tanong pa nga nia ko kung nakakain na daw ba ko ng burger na made of that mushroom. ay im not familiar of that, girl, yun nalang ang say ko.

tinanong ko si google kung ano nga ba ang ganoderma coffee. at eto ang sagot nia saken:

Coffee Ganoderma is an absolutely safe and natural product. The caffeine content contained in this type of coffee is tremendously low as compared to the fully caffeinated and decaffeinated varieties. As far as taste is concerned Ganoderma coffee is as rich, strong and deliciously tasty as its caffeinated vis-a-vises.

Ganoderma is actually a fungus or more commonly a mushroom! Scientifically this fungus is known as Ganoderma lucidum. Ganoderma coffee is impregnated with the extracts of this fungus. This Ganoderma fungus is naturally bestowed with medicative properties that protect the immune system, provide energy and vitality, minimize tiredness as well as enhance longevity.

So when you are sipping into a cup of Ganoderma coffee you can rest assured that your health is totally safe guarded! This marvelous herbal concoction of coffee and Ganoderma has become immensely popular globally. The origin of this amazing fungus can be traced back to China. The Chinese refer to Ganoderma as the ‘King of Herbs’ and its alternative names are Rei Shi and Ling Zhi.

Ganoderma is also effective in preventing tumors, and detoxifies the liver. It has also been said that it is effective in curing heart ailments, insomnia, high blood pressure, diabetes, chronic asthma and bronchitis. So coffee beans infused with Ganoderma extracts produces this highly nutritious and healthy beverage called Ganoderma coffee.

Ganoderma lucidum and its proven medical efficacy has been acknowledged and endorsed by the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia. This herb is also known as the Red Mushroom. Ganoderma has been researched extensively for its therapeutic and healing properties. So Ganoderma coffee is perhaps the best thing to have been discovered for coffee connoisseurs all over the world.

Gano coffee gives you the same punch as any of the caffeinated versions of coffee. But coffee Ganoderma contains far less caffeine than regular coffee. A cup of regular coffee contains 65-135mg of caffeine. Ganoderma coffee contains only about 8.5-10mg of caffeine!

So now you can enjoy your coffee drink without feeling guilty about its effects on your health! Ganoderma coffee will pamper your taste buds the same way as normal coffee. Gano coffee’s regenerative and renewing property strengthens the body’s natural immune system. So your battle against diseases and your overall life expectancy is enhanced.

So if you are looking forward to a healthier and happy life then turn the tables over to Ganoderma coffee. Coffee Ganoderma will not only revive your senses but will redefine a more healthy and satisfactory coffee lifestyle. Say three cheers to good health and to the Gano cafe culture!

**galing yan dito**

tama nga si nikie, galing sya sa kabute. healthy naman pala sya. pero the fact na ininom ko sya before i sleep, eh talagang hindi ako makakatulog. i am a coffee addict, yes. i need it to keep myself awake at work. pero yun nga, wag naman bago matulog diba.

lesson for today: WAG NA WAG NA WAG iinom ng kape bago matulog.

tandaan yan okay? :)

them they are "beautiful" and being called to the school cause s/he roughed
some kid who called them "Butt Face", "Mugabe", "Nkosazana Zuma", etc.

If a guy has a child with another woman,
90% of the time, he'll go back to the woman. Either the woman will use the
child to interrupt every moment you spend together, or the guy will realize
he made a big mistake and go back to his "family". Chances of you winning
over his child are nil, that's a battle you've already lost. Advice: Leave
Mr Family Man or kill the child. Make your pick.

If a guy cheats on you,
He'll do it again. If you stay, he'll cheat even more. No woman can make a
guy stop cheating, not even his mother. Cheaters are like a small kid, once
they tasted sweets, no matter what you do or say, they'll find a way to get
hold of them. Stop looking for water in a desert, because you'll find none.
Advice: Leave the looser and find a real man who'll give you his all OR stay
with the cheat and be a subscriber of Kleenex Tissues, coz you will be
weeping till you get to your grave. He might even find a girl to replace
you, coz he doesn't really need you, or he'll keep you to cook for him and
do his laundry, while he gets his groove on.

If a guy hits you,
Yes even if it's a slap - leave. If you stay, you have convinced him that
it's okay if he beats you. Ladies, it is not love, it is lust. Stop
convincing yourself that "if you hit a child, it's because you love them",
You are not a child and he is not your Parent. Do you go around beating up
your bestfriends? Think about it!

If a guy says he loves you,
Probably he truly does. Make sure you can differentiate between being in love
and being in lust. How to do that? Simple.

Does he cheat? Hit you? Insult you? Abuse you in anyway? If you answered
"YES" to any of these, U ARE IN LUST - LEAVE!!!

Does he respect you? Makes you feel special? Treat you like a queen? If you
answered "YES" to any of these, U ARE IN LOVE - YOU LUCKY FISH, HOLD ON TO
WHAT YOU'VE GOT!!!

Ladies, Don't be a statistic by committing suicide, being in a coma from his
beatings or die from Aids which he infected you with. There is always life
after a break up, Brace yourselves women, you have come this far, don't
disappoint! God will never let you down and if you are looking for LOVE,
Look within yourself and you will get enough.

I got this from my email today.

This is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about Heart Attacks . The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It wil l slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
A serious note about heart attacks - You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting . Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line .
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive.
A cardiologist says if everyone who reads this message sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. Read this & Send to a friend. It could save a life. So, please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you care about.

Being happy is a choice that we have to make within ourselves. It may be easy sometimes. Are there really rules on how to be happy? I came through this stuff in the web and I feel that I just have to share it with you.

Relax. Lighten up. Don't take yourself too seriously. Try not to over analyze things. Stress can cause many mental, physical, and spiritual problems in your life. One of the major causes of stress is worrying about things that are out of your control. Learn to recognize these things and if you can truly do nothing about them, then just let them go. Take time to laugh at yourself and the situations you find yourself in. Laughter is a powerful, positive medicine and the calmer and more peaceful you can take things, the happier your life will be. It wouldn't be life if some bad things don't happen.

Take the good with the bad. No one is happy all the time. Everyone has something of sorrow intermingled with the gladness of life. The trick is to make the laughter outweigh the tears. We cannot change the past, but we can enjoy today, and look to the future. If we are prepared to take ownership for the past and accept that everything that's happened in our life, good and bad, has made us the person we are - the battle is half won.

Be thankful. A key component of happiness is acceptance - learning to be grateful for what you have. A lot of people know it but don't keep it in their minds. Comparing your life with others is dangerous. Accept the gifts you have and know that no one is better than or less than anyone else's. Keep a "gratitude journal". Every day, write down a few things that you are thankful for and then review what you have written in past entries. It's a great way to remind yourself to be thankful for what you have and to boost your mood.

Be yourself. Much criticism is caused by people who are discontented with themselves, not with you. One way to get in touch with yourself is through journaling, diaries or (lately) blogs. Your goal may be to open up completely to yourself and learn to be your own best friend by being completely honest with yourself. What do you want out of life? What makes you truly happy? Who do you want to be?

Pursue goals that make you happy. Strive for long term goals rather than short term satisfaction. It's very easy to gain short term satisfaction--a quick high, a fast relief from your current problems (such as drugs, alcohol, sex). But it is what it is, a "short term" satisfaction, and the effects die out very soon, leaving you with an empty feeling that is sometimes worse than before. Set long term goals, goals which take time, thought, and effort to achieve. This will make you continually work towards improving yourself bit by bit and will give you the satisfaction of bringing a permanent change in your life.

Focus on the positive. If the thoughts you are thinking are not giving you that 'good feeling', then think about something else that will make you feel good in that moment. Observe your thoughts and ideas consistently throughout the day (diary/journal if possible). Sometimes this may not be as easy as you think if you are stuck in a "negative" train of thought and your brain chemicals are getting fired up and forming "anxiety or anger" thoughts. Anxiety, fear and anger patterns can be interrupted by focusing on something else. This will dissipate the rush of chemicals that are making you feel bad. Immediately then go back to picturing scenes/remembering things/imagining, planning stuff that makes you feel good.

Develop healthy relationships.

Family. If you want a stronger relationship with your family, you're going to need to be honest with them. Tell your family about your life and don't insult them - it hurts them just as much as it hurts you to be insulted. If you are in an abusive family, you must find a way to stop the abuse and that may include separation.

Have a healthy relationship. If you're dating, get involved with activities that reflect who you are, and get to know people who like the things you do. Get involved with someone who loves life and pursues happiness the way you do. If you're in a relationship, strive to make that relationship healthy.

Choose your friends carefully. Nearly everyone needs someone who cares for them and treats them well. If you have friends who are treating you badly, or are not supportive of you and your goals to improve your life, then ditch them and find friends that do care about you. If you can't find any friends like that in your current circumstances, then look elsewhere. If you're feeling sad, there's nothing like going out with your friends to make you feel better. Surround yourself with friends who are positive, encouraging, and helpful. We all need this continuing, positive encouragement to make solid positive progress in life.

Make someone else happy. When you're feeling powerless to create happiness in your life, do something to make someone else--anyone--happy, and you'll remember how easy it really can be. Isn't it true the happiest people we know are typically the ones who for some foolish reason are always ready to give you the clothes off their back? And frequently it is true that the most discontented people are the ones who are selfish, demanding, and inconsiderate of others. The happiest days of our lives, when we really dig down deep, is when we see the smile on the face of a person who we care about. Even helping a stranger can remind you of how much you really have, because of how much you can give. Serve at a rescue mission and you will learn the meaning of "I cried because I had no shoes and then I met a man who had no feet."

I was amongst the 8 million people who set the World Record for most download in 24 hours when I downloaded Firefox 3. However, most of the add-ons that I had recommended in my previous blog 21 Firefox Add-ons to enhance your browsing experience needed to be upgraded or became completely obsolete to Firefox 3. Hence this blog where I will advice 10 new and/or improved add-ons.

10 New and/or Improved Firefox 3 Add-ons to enhance your browsing experience

StumbleUpon - Let's keep it real, it is still as addictive as before and make you reach the enf of the internet - twice - through sleepless nights. A good add-on that will allow you to literally browse the web - your way

PicLens - Now that has got to be the coolest add-on ever made. You know whenever you're on Google Images, and you have to go through 7 different pages that take hours to load before you can actually find the one that you're interested in? How about when you're watching your friends' pictures on Facebook, MySpace or Flicker? Well fear no more: PicLens is an add-on that transforms your browser into a full-screen, 3D experience for online photos and videos. That's right, VIDEOS too! This add-on searches through Amazon, Google, YouTube, Flicker, deviantArt, Photobucket, Facebook, Myspace and more! Highly Recommended.

Fast Dial - Another awesome and very useful add-on. I barely use my bookmarks anymore: Fast Dial replaces the 'about:blank' page whenever you open a new tab with a panel of thumbnails of your favorite sites. A real time-saver inspired by Opera's Speed Dial. Again: Highly Recommended.

TwitterFox - For all the Twitters out there, stop downloading Twitterific or whatever it's called for PCs. Get TwitterFox. You can follow your friends or write down a Twitt directly from Firefox. It's just extremely convenient, and you don't even have to launch another application.

ScribeFire - This is mainly for the bloggers. I'm actually typing this blog through ScribeFire; it's a full-featured blog editor that integrates with Firefox and lets you easily post your blog. I can browse the web while I'm doing blogging to make sure all my web references and links are correct. Sweet add-on.

Previews - The makers of PicLens did it again. "Best extension ever? Quite possibly." - LifeHacker. "Cooliris makes you a more efficient web surfer." - CNet. I somewhat agree: it is very useful when you're on Craigslist, MySpace or Facebook when you want to see a listing but don't want to go from one page back to the index page and onto the next page and so on... it pops a new window within your already-opened tab so you can see different pages within one. I had to set it up to my convenience, but it's definitely worth it if you don't want to waste your time going back and forth one page.

Google Notebook - The page you're on is somewhat interesting but not enough to read it right now, and definitely not interesting to bookmark? Put it in your notebook. Useful little add-on.And now for the web developers; I use those practically everyday at work:

FireFTP - Just as useful as it before, you don't need another application for a cross-platform FTP, it works better then before (looks like they did some tweaking) and it provides easy and intuituve access to different FTP servers.

FireBug - This little add-on allows you to edit, debug and monitor CSS, HTML and JavaScript live in any web page. Very helpful and useful when you need to tweak your CSS.

Web Developer - This add-on and FireBug make a great team. Web Developer adds a menu and a toolbar with various web developer tools.

I haven't used all the add-ons that I used to have, for I've noticed that the more add-ons you use, the more memory they use, and they drastically slow down firefox and sometimes make it crash (ok, I had a PC, but that's another story). So now I'm only using the ones that are necessary, useful, will make me save time and really improve my browsing experience.

Again, should you have any comments, suggestions, disagreements, whatever... feel free to leave a comment! Thanks for reading.

This is why I love ffffound. I love how there is no communication between the users yet everyone maintains a similar standard for their posts. Here's my ffffound to so you can judge whether I make the grade. I've blogged about it not suffering from tragedy of the commons before and it's still remaining glorious eye-candy. Have a look if you've got 5 minutes. I've also got one invite if anyone wants one. I'll judge on some arbitrary basis of merit (tea making, Dr Who nerdery perhaps) :)

On the other end of the collective intelligence spectrum is the vicious hive mind of that cesspit of the internet /b/ (no link, you'll have to find that particular perverse playground by yourself I'm afraid). This is perhaps collective stupidity but it's a fine example of how all the individuals follow the rules and rarely deviate despite there being no leader given that everyone is anonymous.

I'm rambling now as I'm killing time waiting for my brilliant friend Max to arrive. I think I want to learn more about the wisdom of crowds. There seems to be a lot of books out there that I'll probably get around to reading sometime.

Question though: if crowds are so wise then why do people keep on ploughing into the train carriage doors when you're trying to get out? Is that because the hive mind think: too late loser, you should have packed up your knitting earlier to leave this train? Or because commuters are arses?

As my friend says: none of us is as mean as all of us.

More on this later. First I must drink.

Here is Orange's new advert. Half baked you think? They clearly don't have any form of social media planner (not like our lovely Helen) as I can't find a decent copy of it anywhere that I can embed here.

Worse still is the 'I am' site. Woefully underwhelming and I'm being kind. It doesn't even follow the brand guidelines. How on earth that got signed off I have no idea, but looks hastily thrown together with no thought or care. Such a shame as 'I am who I am because of everyone in my life' is a decent idea on which to base a campaign. The only redeeming feature is how you find the dreadful site. There's no URL on the zillions of press ads scattered about the freesheets this morning, instead you are instructed to search for 'I Am' and lo and behold! Up pops the first entry on paid search 'I Am Everyone dot com'. This, apparently, is a popular call to action in Japan - I like it, expect more soon.

Never mind, guerrilla marketing is much more fun: check out I am orange a hastily thrown together blog of pictures of orange people. Awesome. I'm trying to get it higher on the search rankings so please click and republish!

Oh, and while we're on the subject of ill-conceived marketing ideas: this morning's iPhone fiasco has me angered greatly. To my shame I love Apple more than I love Orange. I'm considering leaving them after 10 years to get my greedy geek mitts on the new iPhone. I'm rapidly going off the idea as I was faced with this rather cold message as I clicked hopefully through to the shop.
